Chapter 3624 Stealth Mode
Nathan looked at Eve.
Eve seconded, "Yes, that's true. Gods even have some spaceships for the specific purpose of flying in the universe. We even use some desolate small asteroids for conducting tests." Nathan frowned. "Tests?"
No sooner had Eve finished speaking than she realized her slip of the tongue.
But at that moment, Nathan had already started asking questions.
She couldn't avoid responding, so she bit the bullet and affirmed honestly, "Yes! For instance, when developing powerful new offensive weapons, we wouldn't conduct tests on our own home planet, Divine Realm. Instead, we would go to other planets to carry out the tests. By doing so, it won't cause any harm to our home planet."
At her explanation, understanding dawned upon Nathan.
It was just like how Earth enjoyed testing weapons in the desert after developing them.
The only difference was humans could only test the weapons they developed on Earth, while Gods had already advanced to the point where they could conduct their tests on other planets.
Nathan drawled, "Gods invade other nations everywhere yet cherish their own so much. Should I praise you all for being conservationists or condemn you as destructors?"
Eve said nothing.
Nathan asked further, "Do Gods often invade other planets and slaughter the inhabitants of those planets?"
Eve shook her head and answered, "Although the universe is vast, planets with life are extremely rare. Occasionally, we may encounter one or two, but it's very likely microbes. Planets like Earth that possess their own civilizations, are exceedingly rare." Nathan was silent for two seconds. Then, he asked a very sensitive question.
"Where is the home planet of Divine Realm?"
Following that question, Eve's expression changed drastically.
Alas, she was defeated by Nathan's sharp gaze. She raised her hand and pointed to an approximate location on the cosmic navigation map. "It's here."
Nathan's brows furrowed. "Isn't this direction the same as the one Beacon of Dawn is heading in?"
As soon as those words rang out, Marcus, Colin, and the others immediately swung their gazes to Eve.
Colin, especially, already had his hand on the handle of his gun.
Gods actually set the flight direction of the spaceship's flight test for Divine Realm. What's the intention behind it? What's the motive? Could it be that Eve and the other Gods had planned to rebel long ago, intending to revolt in space and then pilot the spaceship back to the Divine Realm?
Eve gritted her teeth. "I didn't set this direction. It was decided by Mr. Cafaro." "Yes, it was me who decided on it," Marcus instinctively interjected.

Nathan's gaze never left Eve. He said coldly, "But you knew this was roughly the direction to Divine Realm, didn't you? Yet, you chose not to say anything, no?"
Eve steeled herself and said, "I didn't think much about it at the time."
"You better not have any bad intentions. Otherwise, the consequences will be severe," Nathan said coldly.
At that moment, everyone learned that the direction they were heading to was Divine Realm's location. In a flash, they all grew tense.
Eve had just said Gods had many spaceships that would carry out a variety of missions in space.
Hence, there was a chance that Beacon of Dawn might encounter a spaceship belonging to the Gods.
Beacon of Dawn was an ancient spaceship initially abandoned on Earth by the divine race due to malfunctions but was later preserved by the Curia. Compared to the new spaceships in Divine Realm then, it was bound to be at a disadvantage.
If they were to encounter a Gods' spaceship, it'd be extremely dangerous.
Marcus quickly asked Nathan, "Should we head back now? Or perhaps amend the direction?"
Nathan contemplated for a moment before saying, "Don't be so nervous. After all, we are still far from the Divine Realm. Proceed ahead but switch the flight mode to stealth mode. Let the spaceship fly for two more days. If there aren't any issues, we'll head back."
"Understood!" Marcus replied.
Soon, the spaceship entered stealth mode, and its speed reduced significantly.
