Whispers Turn to Whimpers: Could He Ever Change?

Chapter 919

After the new series kicked off, Sherilyn got busy packing her bags, ready to join the crew for some on-location shooting.

Before she left, she reached out to Galen Martin.

"I'll be out of town for a few days. If anything comes up at home, I'll have Sophia get in touch with you."

Galen didn't hesitate, "Don't worry, sis. I'll swing by every day to check on things."

With her home affairs in order, Sherilyn set off with peace of mind.

First, she headed to the studio and then met up with Blake and the others to travel to the location together. Mr. Marshall had already arrived a day earlier. Upon arrival, they checked into the hotel.

As expected, she ran into Karol.

"Sherilyn!"

Karol had arrived earlier and came over to help with her luggage. "I checked the roster; our rooms are right across from each other. Super convenient."

As they entered the elevator, a cleaner pushing a cleaning cart came out.

The cart's wheel got stuck momentarily, and a bottle of disinfectant fell off.

"Oops..."

Sherilyn was nearby, softly exclaimed, and caught the bottle, placing it back on the cart.

"Thank you..."

The cleaner smiled and thanked her.

"No problem."

In the moment their eyes met, the cleaner's expression suddenly changed, "It's you?!"

Sherilyn paused, recognizing her... Wasn't she that hardcore fan of Caroline?

She hadn't expected to run into her here.

This person was known for her extreme views, and Sherilyn wanted to avoid trouble, so she withdrew her hand, ready to leave. "Hmph!"

The fan scoffed coldly, "Acting all high and mighty just because you're rich, always getting your way!"

"What did you say?" Sherilyn turned around, surprised.

"Can't you understand?"

The fan looked furious, "Wasn't it just a splash of ice water and a few harsh words? And you had to press charges, getting me detained for a week and fined $500!" Oh.

Sherilyn realized, so that's how the police had dealt with it? Seemed fair to her.

Raising an eyebrow, "And your point is? You're an adult. You should own up to your actions." "You..."

The fan trembled with rage, pointing at Sherilyn.

"What did you lose to warrant this? You're already so rich and famous! Can't you just let it go?" What kind of logic was that?

"Ha."

Sherilyn couldn't help but laugh,

"What? Because I'm wealthy and et

well-known, I should let people

provoke me without consequence?"

"You..."

"Interesting." Sherilyn shook her head lightly, "So, your poverty

But she couldn't grasp this fan's mentality.

"Hmph."

fault?

Sherilyn looked at the fan, smiling faintly, "Your poverty isn't just material; it's spiritual as well!"

Glancing at Karol, "Let's go."

"Oh, right..."

"Sherilyn!"

Behind them, the fan was livid, her face turning purple, "You, you... Heartless rich! Think you're so great with your money? You'll get what's coming to you!"

Karol glanced back, feeling uneasy, "That fan is kinda scary."

"Don't worry about it." Sherilyn shook her head, unconcerned, "We don't see eye to eye. No use wasting words."

"Yeah, you're right..."

As the elevator doors closed, Karol took one last look at the fan, biting her lip.

...

The new series officially began filming.

Two days later, around noon.

Sherilyn was going over her script, preparing for the next scene.

"Sherilyn!" Naomi rushed over, recently hired by Blake as Sherilyn's assistant.

Pointing in a direction, Naomi said, "Mr. Harrison is here!"

The young girl couldn't hide her excitement upon seeing Gilbert for the first time.
