Chapter 308
After all, if Lemira had the skills to lock down so many people's phones, she could surely hack into hers too!
It was because Lemira exposed those videos and photos as evidence, that she ended up in such a mess!
"Susanna, you're out on bail now, try not to stir up more trouble. Your sister is negotiating the engagement with the Everharts. If you cause a scandal or end up in jail, that engagement will be off."
"Do you only care about my sister, not me? If she's getting engaged to the Everharts, taking down Lemira should be easy, right?"
Why was Lemira still hopping around in front of her?
"I didn't mean that, darling. Once your sister's engagement is all set, you can deal with whoever you want, and no one will be able to touch you."
"That low-life from some backwater town dared to be so arrogant, I'll make sure she suffers!"
Susanna just couldn't swallow this humiliation. She had always had it easy, and to be bested by a nobody was unbearable!
She wasn't going to let it go.

The next day, Lemira woke up without an alarm.
Planning to go to the gym for some boxing practice, she had grown more interested in it ever since she beat up Jackson!
Before heading out, Lemira received a text from Orion: [Got any plans for the weekend?]
While walking, she replied: [Joined a gym recently, heading there to work out!]
Her new house wasn't far from Orvin University, so she grabbed a bike and rode over.
The coach had mentioned her stamina and muscle mass were lacking, and she needed more strength training!
Before leaving, Lemira checked her phone one last time but saw no reply from Orion.
She simply put away her phone and biked to the gym.
A luxury car was parked across the street.
Orion watched Lemira ride away, ultimately deciding not to send another message.
He had wanted to ask Lemira about dealing with the haters on her live stream last night.
But Lemira handled it well, looking good this morning.
It seemed like she didn't need him anymore; she was growing up fast and was smart. He felt a bit... lost?
spoke up, "We've sent a
message to Jackson's side; the
wnovel
won't have a chance to play
dirty."
Orion looked away, his expression returning to normal, "Let's go."
The weekend passed.
Lemira spent almost all of it at the gym, feeling more energized than ever. Returning to her dorm, she found a new dorm keeper had been assigned.
But Lemira noticed that Clara hadn't returned, leaving only Janice.
The school had issued a notice about the Jackson incident, awaiting further investigation by the police.
Janice spoke up reluctantly, "Clara had to go to the police for a statement because Jackson spilled everything, including Clara calling him to plot against you. There's solid evidence!"
The school could have protected Clara, giving her a mere reprimand, but Jackson had outed her!
Lemira didn't say much upon hearing this.
Clara had brought this upon herself.
Monday morning came, and there were classes to attend.
As Lemira approached the classroom, a middle-aged couple stopped her.
"Are you Lemira?"
She remembered them as Clara's parents, having seen them once at the beginning of the school year. Lemira nodded, "Yes, I am."
The middle-aged woman raised her
hand and slapped Lemira, "You're et like my daughter ended up
like this!"
