Chapter 1782
Sadie sat slumped on the floor, her limbs bound.
Her gaze was vacant, staring blankly at the floor.
“Mr.
Fredrick,” the guards stationed beside Sadie greeted Holden respectfully.
Hearing Holden’s name, Sadie looked up.
Fear flickered in her eyes, quickly replaced by a manic gleam.
“Theodore…” she muttered, a twisted smile curving on her lips as Holden stepped closer.
“Theodore, you’re here.
You’ve come to save me, right?”
“Save you?” Holden scoffed.
Without warning, he lashed out, his foot connecting with Sadie’s body.
Sadie shrieked in pain, her pregnant form crumpling to the floor.
Blood trickled from a gash on her forehead caused by the fall.
The room fell silent as Holden’s kick left Sadie reeling, her mind blank.
Holden pressed his shoe against her face, his voice cold and unforgiving.
“I’ve never struck a woman before, but you’ve pushed me to my limit.
Why do you keep crossing the Line?”
Sadie could only whimper, tears streaming down her face.
When Holden eased the pressure slightly, she gasped out, “I’ll be obedient! Please, Theodore, don’t hurt me anymore.
It hurts too much…”

Holden’s voice dripped with venom as he said, “Obedient? Then why did you run? You claim it hurts? What about the pain you inflicted on Ariana?” His teeth clenched as rage consumed him.
“How dare you hurt her?”
Even in her vulnerable state, Sadie still hated Ariana deeply.
She tried hard to say, “Ariana… She deserves to die! She’ll… Rot in helt!”
A murderous glint flashed in Holden’s eyes.
Without warning, he delivered another kick to Sadie’s head.
Sadie let out a blood-curdling scream as fresh waves of pain rushed through her body.
Dizzy and desperate, she tried to flee, but when she turned her head, her skull collided with the French window.
Pain exploded in her head as if her skull had split in two.
Even her surgically altered nose had been knocked crooked.
The bodyguards flanked her on either side, standing in grim silence, their mere presence suffocating.
“She’s not going to hell.
” Holden’s voice was chilling.
“But you? Oh, you’ll be there soon enough.
” Rolling up his sleeves with eerie calmness, he added, “I’ll make sure you pay for what you did to her.
”
Suddenly, the weight of the situation crashed down on Sadie.
She realized, with bone-deep terror, that this time, Holden wasn’t bluffing-he really meant to kill her.
Her face contorted in fear.
“Theodore… Don’t you remember me? I’m Helen,” she said, her voice cracking.
You promised never to abandon me.
How can you go back on your word?”
Holden’s cold gaze bore into Sadie.
When Sadie saw that Holden was looking at her, her eyes suddenly Lit up, and a flattering smile appeared on her face.
However, she hadn’t anticipated that Holden would kick her again.
Sadie was sprawled on the floor, her face a mess of tears and dirt.
