Unconscious Husband: Meet Her Love In Silence

Chapter 1781

He had believed their time for happiness had finally arrived after enduring five years of amnesia from a car accident, the separation of their family, and Moss’ drug scheme.

However, fate was still cruelly trying to snatch Ariana from him.

Why?

What sins had he and Ariana committed to deserve such torment?

On the way to the hospital, Holden talked to Ariana.

Ariana’s breaths came shallow and faint as if each might be her last.

“Please stay awake,” Holden begged, holding Ariana tightly.

“Don’t sleep, or you might never wake up.

Please, Ariana, hold on just a Little longer.

I won’t let anything happen to you, I swear.

However, Ariana’s eyes remained closed, her face alarmingly pale.

Forcing down the rising panic within him, Holden rushed Ariana into the emergency room.

He tried to follow Ariana inside, but he was stopped.

“Mr.

Fredrick, you can’t go in,” the doctor said, stepping in front of Holden, his expression tight with unease.

It was then that Mitchel arrived.

He had seen Holden’s bodyguards rushing in panic and inquired casually, only to be hit with the shocking news-Ariana had been lured into the lake and stabbed in the heart.

Now, she teetered on the edge of death.

“Let me take care of this,” Mitchel said, breathless but resolute.

When the doctor saw Mitchel, he was stunned for a second before he nodded.

Holden, broken and desperate, clung to Mitchel Like a drowning man grasping for a lifeline.

His bloodshot eyes glistened with unshed tears as he said hoarsely, “Please, Mitchel… Save her.

You have to save her.

Mitchel met his gaze with a steady nod.

“I’ll do everything I can.

Don’t tell Rodney or anyone else about this just yet.

Rodney is too old and weak; he wouldn’t take the news well.

With that, Mitchel entered the room, Leaving Holden alone on the cold hospital bench.

The chill of the lake and the image of Ariana’s severe blood loss left Holden shivering, his face a mask of anguish, his heart in tatters.

Just then, Holden’s bodyguards arrived.

“Mr.

Fredrick, we’ve apprehended Sadie from the lake.

What are your orders?” the head bodyguard said.

Holden’s voice turned icy.

“Didn’t I instruct you to keep Sadie under constant surveillance? How did she get out?”

The bodyguards exchanged uneasy glances.

They were caught off-guard by Sadie’s escape and her subsequent attack on Ariana.

“It’s our fault, Mr.

Fredrick.

” The bodyguards all lowered their heads in fear.

“Where is she?” Holden demanded, his eyes blazing with hatred.

Five minutes later, Holden was led to the greenhouse, where Sadie was being held.

This place, once a tranquil space for patients to pick flowers, was now eerily empty, cleared by Holden’s bodyguards.

Even the gardeners had been barred entry.
