Chapter 18
As Scarlet strode into the dimly lit torture room, her eyes burning with a cold determination, she locked gazes with Mia, who sat bound and helpless in the center of the room. The air was heavy with tension as Diego, Dracula, Tyler, and the rest of the group watched on, eager to witness Scarlet's cruel intentions unfold.
Scarlet's voice was cold and detached. "Mia, you've been here for a while now. It's time to start talking."
Mia's eyes fluttered open, her gaze pleading. "Please...have mercy."
Scarlet's smile was cruel and her voice cut through the silence like a blade as she addressed Mia in a chilling tone. "Mercy? You want mercy? You should have thought of that before you crossed me, Mia. Do you know who I am, Mia? I am Ariana Keys, the little girl you all killed twenty years ago along with her family Keys Family. And now, I have returned to exact my revenge. One of you is already gone, and now it's your turn. After you, there will be only three left, waiting for their inevitable demise."
Mia's eyes widened in horror as the realization of Scarlet's identity dawned on her.
Mia's eyes widened in terror as Scarlet began to circle her, her movements graceful and menacing.
"You see, Mia, I've been watching you all for a long time. I know your secrets, your fears, your weaknesses. And I'm going to exploit them all, one by one."
Scarlet's hands were swift and precise as she began the torture. Mia's screams echoed through the room, but Scarlet didn't flinch. She was a master of pain, and she knew exactly how to extract the truth.
The first hour passed, and Mia's body was a mess of cuts and bruises. Scarlet didn't stop, her eyes fixed on her prey.
"Tell me, Mia," Scarlet's voice was a whisper. "Tell me about Bruce Springsteen. Was he one of the guards that night?" Mia's eyes were wild, her voice barely audible. "N-no...please...I don't know what you're talking about..."
Scarlet's laughter was cold. "Oh, Mia. You're not very good at this. Let me show you what happens when you lie to me."
The room echoed with Mia's screams as Scarlet's methods grew increasingly sadistic. She used various instruments of torture, leaving no part of Mia's body untouched. Each moment stretched into an eternity as Scarlet sought the truth from Mia, determined to uncover the secrets that lay buried within her fractured mind. Through the haze of agony, Mia's resolve began to crumble. The weight of guilt and fear pressed down on her, threatening to consume her entirely. And finally, in a moment of weakness, Mia confessed, revealing the twisted truth about Bruce Springsteen's involvement in Ariana's tragic fate.
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, Mia's voice was barely a whisper. "Y-yes...Bruce Springsteen... he was one of the guards....please...stop..."
Scarlet's face was a mask of triumph. "Ah, Mia. You should have told me the truth from the beginning. Now, you've only made it worse for yourself."
The torture continued, each hour more brutal than the last. Mia's body was a mass of blood and bruises, her mind shattered by the agony.
But Scarlet didn't stop, her revenge fueled by a burning hatred. She would extract every last secret from Mia's tortured body, and then, she would kill her.
Scarlet stood over Mia's lifeless body, her gun still smoking from the multiple shots she had fired. The sound of the gunshots still echoed in the torture room, and the smell of gunpowder filled the air. Mia's body lay slumped against the wall, her eyes frozen in a permanent stare. Her skin was pale and clammy, her mouth open in a silent scream. The bullets had torn through her flesh, leaving behind bloody wounds that seemed to stare back at Scarlet like empty eyes. Scarlet's gaze was fixed on the body, her mind replaying the events that had led to this moment. She felt no remorse, no guilt, only a sense of satisfaction that she had finally exacted her revenge.
"Vincento, Tyler," she called out, her voice cold and detached. "Take care of this. Dispose of the body and make sure the world knows what happened to her."
Vincento and Tyler nodded, their faces expressionless. They had seen Scarlet's wrath before, and they knew better than to question her instructions.
"What do you want us to say, Boss?" Vincento asked, his voice low and gravelly.
Scarlet's eyes never left Mia's body. "Tell them the truth. Tell them she was a traitor, a spy who sold out her friends and allies. Tell them she died because of her betrayal."
Tyler nodded, his eyes scanning the room. "And what about the guards, DVV? The ones who helped her?"
Scarlet's smile was cold and cruel. "Make sure they know they're next. Make sure they know I'm coming for them."
Vincento and Tyler nodded, their faces set in determination. They knew Scarlet's wrath was not to be trifled with, and they would make sure her instructions were carried out to the letter.
As they dragged Mia's body away, Scarlet stood there, her eyes fixed on the spot where the body had lain. She could still see the image of Mia's pale face, her eyes frozen in a permanent stare. She knew she would never forget this moment, this feeling of satisfaction and revenge.
The sound of footsteps echoed through the room, and Scarlet turned to face the door. Dracula stood there, his eyes fixed on her, a look of concern on his face.
"DVV, are you okay?" he asked, his voice low and husky.
Scarlet's smile was cold and detached. "I'm fine, Dracula. Just taking care of business."
Dracula nodded, his eyes never leaving hers. "Be careful, DVV. You're playing with fire."
Scarlet's laughter was cold and cruel. "I'm not playing, Dracula. I'm burning the whole house down." With that statement she walked out of the place to her room to clean up the blood stains from her body.
An hour later, Lord Smith came back from drug dealing and went into Scarlets room. Lord Smith entered Scarlet's room, his face expressionless, his eyes cold and calculating. He was flanked by his guards, their faces equally impassive. "Scarlet, check the news," he said, his voice devoid of emotion. "Mia's death has been announced to the public. The message is clear: anyone who betrays us will meet the same fate."
Scarlet's eyes flickered to the screen in front of her, her face a mask of indifference. The news anchor's voice was solemn, his words dripping with gravity.
"...lady Mia Osteen, who was former owner of Acne Cooperation in Moscow city Russia, was found dead today in Italy, her body riddled with bullets. Sources close to the investigation say she was a murderer, who killed alot of families in including Key's Family in Asia twenty years ago, just to climb to wealth. This brutal killing sends a clear message to anyone who dares to cross the killer: betrayal will not be tolerated. The killer is yet to be identified but it's a revenge story for sure"
Lord Smith's eyes never left Scarlet's face. "The game is getting more bloody and deadly, Scarlet. The rest will be aware that you're coming for them. Be careful."
Scarlet's gaze was fixed on the screen, her mind processing the information. She felt no emotion, no remorse, only a cold determination to see this through to the end.
"I will, Lord Smith," she said, her voice as cold as his. "I won't rest until they're all dead."
Lord Smith nodded, his face still expressionless. "See that you don't. We can't afford to lose you now."
With that, he turned and left, his guards following closely behind. Scarlet's eyes remained fixed on the screen, her mind planning her next move, her next victim.

The room was silent, the only sound the hum of the computer and the soft glow of the screen. Scarlet's face was a mask of indifference, her eyes cold and calculating, her mind a labyrinth of death and destruction.
She was a force to be reckoned with, a deadly assassin with no remorse, no compassion, no emotion. She was the organization's weapon, their leader of vengeance, and she would stop at nothing to see this through to the end. She's the Lucifer on earth, her eyes blazing with a fierce determination. She was a force to be reckoned with, a master of revenge, and even the devil himself would sit down to take lessons from her. Her gaze fell upon the drawing of her enemies, and with a swift motion, she marked a bold red X through Mia Osteen's name, just like she had done with Brail.
Next victim: Bruce Springsteen.
She picked up her phone and dialed a number, her eyes never leaving the drawing. Chance, her trusted ally, answered on the first ring.
"Chance, I need you to investigate Bruce Springsteen," Scarlet said, her voice cold and detached. "Gather all the information you can. I want to know everything about him."
"Already on it, boss" Chance replied, his voice equally cold. "But, he's not an easy target. He's got connections, and he's not afraid to use them."
Scarlet's laughter was like ice. "Connections? Ha! I'll show him what connections really mean. I'll make him beg for mercy."
"Understood, bods. I'll get you everything I can. But be careful, he's not the only one looking for revenge. There are others, and they won't hesitate to strike once they find out that you're one behind this." Scarlet's eyes narrowed. "Others? Who?"
"The remaining guards, boss. They're not going to take this lying down. They'll come for you, and they won't stop until you're dead."
Scarlet's smile was a cold, calculated thing. "Let them come. I'll be ready. And when I'm done with them, they'll wish they had never crossed me."
The conversation ended, and Scarlet's gaze fell back upon the drawing. Bruce Springsteen's name was next on her list, and she would stop at nothing to make him pay.
She began to pace, her mind working overtime, planning and scheming. She would take him down, and she would make it hurt......
