THE DEVIL HERSELF

Scarlet was going to her room when she got a message from Arizona.

I tried my best to protect you from Smiths attacks but you didn't notice it cause of the hatred you have for me. I decided to run away then ran into Santiago and has been protecting you from him since then" she concluded cause of tears in her eyes.

Scarlet suddenly calmed down. " You were the one that saved me that night?"

"Yes it was me. I couldn't let him win with his evil plans so I did that to save what ever information he was trying to wipe away. Even the Slayers Clan has a huge secret, the brother of the triplets, Lucas, is still alive and has been a slave in that clan for a long time now. I trying to save him when I found out through Bingo that Johnson was here at this club. I decided to find out the reason why he killed Chad that night " she added wiping away her tears. "Wow. "The boss said that someone is working with DVV to take us down and that person is in our Clan because the video that would have lead to her down fall has been deleted from his phone" A dark skinned girl known as Vera, said causally.

Arizona crept through the dark, damp corridors of the dungeon, her heart racing with every step. The air was thick with the stench of rot and decay, and the flickering torches cast eerie shadows on the walls. She had been sneaking in for weeks, bringing food and hope to the prisoner, Lucas.

As she approached his cell, she whispered, "Lucas, it's me, Arizona. I've brought food."

Lucas's head lifted, his eyes squinting in the dim light. His once strong body now hung limp and lifeless, his skin pale and clammy. Arizona's heart ached at the sight of him, but she forced a smile onto her face. "Hey, Lucas. I've got some bread and water for you. You need to keep your strength up."

Lucas's voice was barely above a whisper. "Arizona...thank God. I thought I was going to starve to death in here."

Arizona hurried to his side, helping him sit up as she handed him a piece of bread and a waterskin. "Eat, Lucas. You need your strength. We're going to get you out of here soon."

As Lucas ate, Arizona examined his wounds, her face set in determination. She knew Scarlet's plan was risky, but they had no other choice. Lucas's life hung in the balance, and she refused to let him die.

"Lucas, listen to me. Scarlet and I will come for you soon. Be ready. We'll get you out, no matter what it takes."

Lucas's eyes sparkled with hope, his voice barely audible. "I trust you, Arizona. I trust Scarlet. I know you'll save me."

Arizona's smile was fierce. "We will, Lucas. We won't let you down."

As she prepared to leave, Lucas grasped her hand, his grip weak but full of gratitude. "Thank you, Arizona. Thank you for being my friend...my lifeline."

Arizona's heart swelled with emotion. "You're my friend too, Lucas. We'll get through this together. I promise."

With a final glance, Arizona vanished into the darkness, leaving Lucas with a glimmer of hope in the desolate dungeon. She knew the road ahead would be treacherous, but she was determined to save Lucas, no matter the cost and return him to his sister's.
