Chapter 94 Did Not Recognize Alexander
After dinner, Allison handed Carl Jack's skull pendant and said, "Keep this with you. It might come in handy later!" Carl paused for a moment, then looked at Allison with a bit of helplessness. "Gaia, Jack's family is known as the Night King. Dealing with them is super dangerous!" Allison nodded. "That's exactly why I'm giving it to you!"
She even flashed a bright smile, making Carl laugh in exasperation. Allison was still as mischievous as ever.
Before bed, Allison sent a message to Alexander: [Good night! Sweet dreams.]
Alexander looked at the message, his heart racing. Was he finally going to meet her tomorrow?
At 7:30 the next morning, Allison showed up at the lab. She was decked out in protective gear, goggles, and a mask, with only her eyes visible. But Alexander recognized her instantly.
"Gaia, nice to meet you!" Benjamin, also in protective gear, greeted her.
Allison nodded slightly and walked into the lab with Benjamin.
Alexander and the other researchers stood outside, while Carl, the person in charge, was inside the lab.
Upon entering, Allison greeted Carl, clearly familiar with him. Seeing this, Alexander frowned and felt a pang of jealousy. He had seen Carl before, a very meticulous guy.
Alexander narrowed his eyes. Could this be a rival in love?
Allison spoke up, "The first test is starting. Everyone, keep an eye on the data. Any anomalies, trigger the red alert!"
Ruby looked at Allison in the lab, feeling a bit jealous. She had heard that Gaia was the world's top hacker and was highly favored by Benjamin. Some people often disliked those who were stronger than themselves. Several issues came up during the test, but Allison skillfully resolved them all. Once she got into work mode, Allison stayed in the lab for six hours straight.
A voice called out, "Gaia, take a break!"
Allison was so engrossed in the data that she didn't hear the person next to her. Carl eventually had to forcibly pull her away.
"Carl, I'm almost done!" Allison's eyes remained fixed on the data as she spoke.
"The lab has radiation. Do you want to die?" Carl snapped, and Allison immediately fell silent.
Alexander walked over, staring intently at Allison, making her feel puzzled as she asked, "Sir, do we know each other?" Alexander sneered, "No, we don't!"
With that, he turned and walked away, leaving Allison even more confused. Only Carl looked at Alexander meaningfully, sensing something was off about this guy.
Allison returned to the decontamination room, went through five rounds of decontamination, and finally changed into casual clothes. This was why she didn't leave the lab once she entered; it was too much hassle. Benjamin came out, extremely excited as he said to Alexander, "Gaia's equipment is indeed much more advanced. Combining the two, Abel, we're one step closer to success!"
Alexander nodded, but his mind was elsewhere. He was worried about Allison since he had heard that the lab had radiation.
Alexander wandered around, trying to find Allison but was stopped by security before he could reach the rest area.
Carl was puzzled by Alexander's unusual behavior, so he had security bring Alexander into his room.
Carl said, "Abel, give me a reason for trespassing here!"
Alexander looked at Carl. Carl had a pair of very captivating blue eyes, deep-set brows, a handsome face, and a meticulous expression.
After a while, Alexander asked, "How is Gaia?"
His concern was for Allison, which immediately made Carl wary. "Do you know her?"

Alexander looked at Carl and said slowly, "I came for her!" With that, Alexander turned to leave but was blocked by security. He looked back at Carl.
Carl said calmly, "Gaia is not someone you can approach. Answer my question, or you won't be able to leave here, Abel!"
Alexander sneered and sat down on the sofa. "Let's talk!"
Carl glanced at the bodyguard, who then opened the door and went outside.
"Who exactly are you?" Carl asked.
Alexander smiled and pulled out his phone. The wallpaper was a photo of him and Allison on a yacht, taken the day they officially started dating.
Carl looked at Alexander in surprise. Allison had never mentioned this guy to him, but seeing Alexander's expression, Carl seemed to get it. "She didn't recognize you. How did you recognize her?" Alexander replied confidently, "When you love someone, you'll recognize them no matter how much they change, Carl. It's destiny!"
Carl didn't quite get what destiny was, but he knew Alexander had no bad intentions toward Allison. "Do you like Gaia?"
Alexander said firmly, "Carl, let me correct you. She is my lover!"
Carl's expression shifted, and his gaze toward Alexander sharpened, like a beast showing natural hostility toward an intruder. "She can't fall in love with anyone, Abel!"
Alexander shook his head with a smile. "Carl, there's no such thing as impossible in this world. It depends on how far you're willing to go! So, how is Gaia?"
Carl glanced at Alexander and nodded. "She's fine. Gaia has always been very responsible. If no one reminds her, she can stay in the lab for over ten hours, and she almost lost her life because of it once! But that's Gaia's business, not yours to worry about. Focus on your own tasks, Abel, or I'll have you escorted out!"

Alexander stood and left, but after walking a short distance, he turned back to the tightly closed door. There was definitely something off about Carl.
Back in his room, Alexander took out a backup phone and sent a message. This phone was custom-made to be anti-eavesdropping.
No one knew the true identities of the members of Genesis Creations. Now after confirming Allison's identity, Alexander was sure that Cleo was also a member.
He had met Carl and Felix at the gaming competition, but that wasn't all. There was another member Alexander had been tracking for years. He had to admit that these members of Genesis Creations were all representatives of cutting-edge technology, and he wanted them under his wing.
Meanwhile, Cleo asked, "Allison, want to go fishing?"
Allison was eating, and upon hearing Cleo's question, she shook her head abruptly. "No way. Last time you went fishing, you almost got dragged away by a fish. If I hadn't saved you, you'd have been shark bait by now. Cleo, please, spare the fish!"
Dejected by the refusal, Cleo still tried to persuade Allison. "I heard we could catch lobsters. Let's go, Allison!" In the end, Cleo directly dragged Allison along. The two girls changed clothes, put on sun hats, and set out to sea. Actually, ever since the last incident, Allison had a natural fear of the ocean. So she just sat and watched, not participating. They didn't catch anything, not even a shrimp. After a while, Cleo threw the fishing rod in frustration, which made Allison laugh out loud.
Allison went to the cabin and found a fishing net. This was a game Felix and the others often played, using a net to catch fish in the sea, always resulting in unforgettable surprises.
Cleo exclaimed, "Allison, oh my God, you must catch a shark!"
Allison decided to steer the boat back to shore, watching Cleo remove the fish and shrimp from the net, laughing heartily like a fool. She felt relaxed.
In the past, the days spent training at the base each year were the happiest times for her. Time flew by, and Genesis Creations had been established for five years. This place had become a home for a few of them.
Alexander stood in the corridor while watching Allison's figure on the beach, a slight smile on his lips. He hadn't known Allison had such a playful side.
"Abel, what are you looking at?" A woman's voice sounded behind him. It was Ruby.
The smile on Alexander's face disappeared instantly, and he walked away.
Ruby followed him while saying, "Are you looking at that Gaia? I heard she's the world's top hacker. She's not a good person, Abel. Don't let her lead you astray!"
