Chapter 3638 Space Pirate
Leopold said, "Please speak, Commander Cross."
Wolfric chimed in, "Absolutely, Commander Cross. your thoughts are valued. We are not unyielding in our stance. If there is a viable plan, we will undoubtedly lend our support."
Nathan spoke with measured deliberation, revealing, "Lately, I've observed indications of a worsening rapport between the vampires and our human population. The Adrunians are staging regular protests, objecting to the coexistence of our two races. There's a looming possibility that the vampires might engage in hostilities with us humans once more."
Upon hearing this, Wolfric was on the verge of providing an explanation when Nathan proceeded, "In light of these circumstances, I sought an audience with the vampire queen, Hepburn, to inquire whether the vampires might consider launching an assault on the Divine Realm in lieu of Earth. Her response only reached me yesterday, affirming the vampires' readiness to commit wholeheartedly to the war effort. Do you believe it's a viable proposition for the vampires to initiate an offensive against the Divine Realm on behalf of Earth?" After saying that, Nathan gazed at Leopold.
Having recently rejected Nathan's earlier proposition, Leopold found himself hesitant to refuse another proposal now.
Moreover, if the vampires were willing to confront the Gods, so be it.
After all, it would be the vampires facing the danger, which ultimately aimed to neutralize the threat of the Gods. In such a scenario, Earth would be the ultimate beneficiary, giving Leopold no reason to object.
Leopold readily concurred, affirming, "The vampires are an integral part of the global village. If they are willing to play a role in Earth's defense, it's indeed the most favorable outcome. I agree." Nathan looked toward Wolfric.
Wolfric hesitated slightly, then said, "I agree too!"
The other War Gods expressed their agreement one after another.
Nathan said, "Very well. The proposal for Earth to attack the Divine Realm has been unanimously agreed upon after our initial discussion. Let's discuss the rest another day. This meeting is adjourned."
The crowd was buzzing with discussion as they dispersed.
Nathan returned to his own office.
Marcus and Eve have been waiting for a long time.
They came to bring good news to Nathan.
Apart from the superweapon, God's Punisher Spaceship had been fully repaired and was ready for takeoff anytime.
Nathan expressed his immense satisfaction and offered high praise to Marcus. He also made a promise to generously reward Marcus's team in the future, recognizing and appreciating the valuable contributions made by Marcus and his team. After that, Nathan told Marcus to get back to his work and asked Eve to stay behind.
"The vampires have consented to participate in the war, serving as Earth's representatives in the
upcoming battle. I will personally
lead the mission, providing guidance to the vampires as we embark on our campaign against the Divine Realm, with the primary objective of eliminating Medille."
It
Upon hearing this, Eve was somewhat taken aback. She hadn't expected this moment to come so quickly.
appeared that Nathan had not experienced a single day of respite since his return to Earth, tirelessly dedicated to the preparations for the assault on the Gods. She asked, "Master-"
Nathan interrupted. "Don't call me 'Master' anymore. We are now partners, not master and servant. You may refer to me as Mr. Cross."
Upon hearing this, Eve was delighted.
She knew that this was her reward for agreeing to help Nathan attack the Divine Realm.
Her status had transformed from a slave to becoming Nathan's comrade.
She promptly responded, "Thank you, Mr. Cross. Is there any way I can support you in this endeavor to attack the Divine Realm?"
Nathan responded, "Indeed, our
Earth's fleet capacity is currently
insufficient, with only two
spaceships at our disposal. Constructing a new spaceship would undoubtedly be a
vel
time-consuming endeavor, a tuxury we can't afford with the Gods'
looming threat. Do you happen to have any solutions for rapidly increasing our troop transport capacity?"
Eve pondered for a moment, then her eyes lit up. "Yes!"
Upon hearing this, Nathan was delighted. "What's the solution? Let's hear it!"
Eve chuckled, "Across the universe,
there exist numerous space pirates hailing from various planetary races. They earn their livelihood by engaging in space raids. These individuals possess rather shoddy,
ет
dilapidated spacecraft. When confronted by the formidable might of the Gods' regular space fleet, these vessels wouldn't stand a chance. However, if what you seek is
solely troop transport capacity, then
these types of spaceships can
certainly fulfill the necessary
requirements."
Nathan squinted his eyes. "It seems we need to meet these space pirates and get some spaceships from them."
