Chapter 2488
"She still has several more dreams to make a reality, I'm going to help her with them."
"So, I'll give her my heart so that she can do all of those things. This will also serve as my compensation to her. I owe her this after all."
When Rorita was about to say something, Tremaine stopped her and said, "Rorita, I know you want to change my mind, but I'm telling you it's not going to work. When you love someone as deeply as I do, you'll understand." Rorita was shocked to hear this.
After a moment she asked, "Sir, have you really made up your mind? Are you sure you won't change your mind?"
"I've already made up my mind. I'm not changing it." Tremaine said, "Please understand."
Rorita's tears began flowing again.
She choked back her sobs as she said, "Sir, you say you owe Miss Cowell and will be giving your life as compensation. But, have you ever thought, that aside from Miss Cowell, you also owe me as well? Haven't you ever thought that you owe me something as well?!" She had never said this to him before.
This was the first time she ever admitted this to him.
She didn't have any other intentions, all she wanted was for him to change his mind.
Tremaine however, remained quiet.
Rorita looked at Tremaine, she felt her heart beating rapidly.
She really hoped that Tremaine would reconsider things.
But all she got was disappointment.
Tremaine didn't change his mind.
"I'm sorry Rorita." Tremaine said.
He knew that he was indebted to Rorita.
He owed her way too much.
But Yesseca was the only woman he loved.
No matter how much he owed Rorita, he wouldn't change his mind for her.
All he could do was apologize to Rorita.
Rorita felt her heart turn to ash.
She never regretted marrying Tremaine.
Even though Tremaine never looked at her and despite the fact that he only married her to be his puppet wife she never once regretted it.
But now, she was feeling regret.
She regretted marrying Tremaine.
If she hadn't married Tremaine, she wouldn't be in so much pain right now!
It felt like a knife that stabbed right through her heart!
Rorita simply sat there for two whole days and nights.
In those two days, she refused to eat or drink anything.
Even when Tremaine talked to her, she remained silent. Her eyes looked dead and empty inside.
"Rorita, I'm sorry. I had hoped you would have recovered this morning." That was all Tremaine would say to her before he left for the presidential office.
But Rorita would remain silent.

An hour after Tremaine left, she opened her mouth.
She called her servants over and asked them to bring her some food.
She ate two whole plates of food.
After she had filled her stomach, she went to wash up in the bathroom. After that she went looking for Madam Quartley.
She told Madam Quartley that she wasn't going to take care of Zorion and Ruth's baby anymore.
After hearing this, Madam Quartley didn't argue with Rorita.
She knew that the only reason Rorita was taking care of a baby that wasn't hers was because of Tremaine.
Now that Tremaine was going to abandon his wife and son for another woman, Rorita no longer had any affection for him.
So, it was completely reasonable to expect her to stop caring for the baby.
Madam Quartley said softly, "Alright,
I understand. If you don't want to raise the baby, then you don't have to. You are still young and should live out your life. It won't do to have
you caring for someone else's baby."
