Be Your Lover Forever (Alicia)

Chapter 1011

As Lauren rubbed her nose, a huge blazer was draped over her shoulders. "We were so busy thinking about taking a walk that I forgot to bring a jacket for you!"

Lauren held onto the collar. Unsure if it was because she was pregnant, she actually felt warm. "I'm not feeling cold! This is so heavy..."

Why was his blazer so heavy?

"How are you not cold?" he asked.

It was going to be winter soon, even though it seemed that it was going to be a warmer winter. Willy noticed that she was rubbing her nose, so he stroked her hair gently.

He said, "Wait for me here, I'll go get you a jacket..."

Lauren wanted to stop him, but he left too quickly. She sighed helplessly. Actually, she didn't feel cold at all!

She kicked her feet around as she hesitated whether to wait for him or not. All of a sudden, she heard a faint rustling sound coming from in front. Lauren lifted her head up, and heard the faint sound that sounded like a woman whining. "Ahh... ooh..."

What sound was that?

Lauren looked around, and walked towards the flowerbed in front subconsciously. She saw a couple pulling at each other under the dark tree, as if they were arguing.

"My parents are both here today, can you not humiliate me?" the woman said.

"Am I humiliating you? I've come all the way here! You'd better not be greedy! I don't understand what's wrong with you women. If you dislike them so much, why did you have to come? Even if you wanted to come, why did you have to pretend that you're doing better than them? What's the use of pretending? Their child's one-month-old party has nothing to do with you. I've told you that I have a gathering with my friend, and I have to leave now!" the man yelled.

"You mustn't leave, Laven... Don't you want to live a better life?" she asked.

"I'd rather not live a life with you! You'd better not threaten me with your family! Money isn't everything! I'm done with you!" the man said.

"You can't leave!" she shouted.

"Let go of me! Ouch, how dare you scratch me! There's blood! I must be f*cking ill-fated to be stuck with you..." he roared.

"I'm begging you!" she said.

"Can you stop?" he yelled.

It turned out to be an argument between a couple. It was dark under the tree, and Lauren could only hear their voices, she couldn't recognize their faces. She could hear a few sentences, and was about to leave as she didn't want to meddle in the family affairs of others. Just then, she heard another scream coming from the tree's side.

"Ahhh..." It was the scream of a woman.

She turned around at once, and saw that the man had pushed to woman to the ground. He even kicked her furiously. "I didn't want to argue with you, but you're crossing the limit!"

"You're just asking for trouble!" he said.

"I have never seen a person as shameless as you! If you need men desperately, go ahead and look for some! I'm not stopping you!" he yelled.

"It's not like they don't know about it! I've told you that you either leave me alone, or just go away. What's wrong with your brain? Do you even have one? Why are you so forgetful?" he continued.

The man was agitated, and he hit

and kicked the woman continuously, without taking pity on her at all. The woman was already in a

et el

disadvantaged position, and she couldn't even get up. She sobbed profusely intermittently. She grabbed onto the man's leg tightly, looking irritating but pitiful. Lauren couldn't bear to watch it, and clenched her fists. She was about to rush forward, but as she put her hand on her stomach, her fighting spirit suddenly vanished, replaced by her gently cough.

She made the sound as she cleared her throat.

Lauren interrupted their argument on purpose. She gave it a thought, then turned around and yelled at the empty path, "Mr. Clements, I'm right here!"

She guessed that since it was a party of the Clements family, there wouldn't be anyone more powerful than the host. In that case, they would probably stop the fight so that no one would be humiliated!

Sure enough, some faint noises came from behind. In an instant, a dark figure flashed before her eyes, and disappeared into the corner.

Lauren wanted to see if the woman was okay, but as soon as she turned around, she saw the angry gaze of the woman.

Was it her?

Was it Hallie?

Lauren instantly regretted. If she had known that it was her, she wouldn't have meddled in their affairs! She really didn't understand why the daughter of a wealthy family like the Clements family was willing to be hit and kicked, and even be despised by a man like him. Why did she have to make herself seem so worthless, and why did she not speak up for herself? If the man dared to behave like that in the property of the Clements family, it wasn't hard to imagine how badly he could've

behaved when they were alone

behind closed doors!

To be frank, she had a top-notch physical outlook and family background, so why was she willing to be tormented like that?

It wasn't the first time Lauren ran into them when they were arguing, and she felt extremely awkward as they looked at each other at that moment. As a woman, she solely did it out of pitying her earlier. She did it out of kindness and she didn't mean to take her suffering as

a joke.

However, as she looked at Hallie's enraged gaze, Lauren knew that she had probably misunderstood her intentions again!

She had been yelled at by Hallie the last time for no reason, and it gave her a headache. Sure enough, just as she was thought about it, Hallie began again.

"Stop gloating here. No one has it harder than you do in this world!" Hallie said.

As Hallie roared at her, her fiery gaze fell upon the men's blazer on her shoulders, and she was so bitter that her gaze could penetrate.

"No matter how much Willy loves

you, you'll only be a poor fallen woman who had been played with if you can't get married into the

Bowles family! You're even more et

pitiful than I am! I'll be honest with you. You can forget about earning a spot in the family with your son. MPS. Bowles hates women who are indecent before getting married the most! Women like you!" she yelled.

"With your identity, you're not even worthy of being his maid!" she scorned.

As Hallie yelled, she even bumped in Lauren hardly as she turned, and pulled the men's blazer off of her on purpose, then snorted angrily at her again.

Willy walked over with the jacket, only to see such a scene. He strode forward and stretched out his hand, wanting to help Lauren up, but he was actually still a few steps too far away, and Lauren didn't actually fall down. Nonetheless, Hallie's behavior infuriated him. He grabbed Hallie's wrist forcefully, as if he wanted to break it on the spot.

"What do you think you're doing? I'm warning you, you'd better not hurt her! If anything happened to her, no one will be able to help you!" he warned.

"What did I do? I did not do anything! I am just walking!" Hallie denied.

She roared in anger as she flung her hand. Suddenly, she burst into tears.

"Are all of you blind? Why are you doing this to me? I treated you so well, but you didn't appreciate it, and now you're scolding me because of this ugly lady! She looks just like a man. How is she better than me? You said that you liked talented and graceful ladies, but you're just a liar!" she screamed.

Hallie's cries startled Willy, and he finally noticed the wounds on her body. He thought of Lauren's skills in combat, and turned around subconsciously to look at her while remaining silent for a while.

"You men are all the same, you're all trash, and you all like fake batches! I won't let you all off for bullying me!" she roared.

After that, Halie flung her arms, and left with her high heels clicking on the floor.
