Unwanted and Unloved by alpha Kane

The ride back to the pack house was quite and tense. No one spoke and word. Summer looked out the side window lost in thought.Kane dove looking over at Summer every now and then. Kane wished he knew what she was thinking. He reached over and grabbed her hand she looked at him with a sadness in her eyes that broke his heart.

They got to the pack house and Kane took Eric to the dungeon and locked him in. He looked at him for a second.

When he walked in he heard the bath water running and knew she was in the bath. He wanted her to have time to take everything that happened today in. He turned down the blankets and changed into his night clothes.

Summer sat in the tub deep in thought. Why would Eric lie and say someone else killed her parents if he did? Why would he still be in that house knowing she knew where it was at? Why would Ben kill her parents what did he have to gain by that. He was Kanes best friend and his beta. He should know that if he did kill them he would have to pay for the crime and Kane would make sure that he died a slow death. She would make sure he died a slow painful death. She laid back in the tub and let the warm water relax her tense muscles. She didn't know how long she had been in the tub until she heard a knock at the door.

Summer it's Kane are you okay you've been in there for over an hour. I'm just checking on you to make sure you're okay.

She got out the tub. And wrapped yourself in one of the big towels that were hanging on her bar. A note fell from one she bent down and picked it up. She opened it and read it.

She dried off and walked out of the room. She looked at Kane who was sitting on the bed playing on his phone.

Someone was in our room. And left me this note in my towel. What is going on? It couldn't have been Eric he's in the dungeon and he's been with us this whole time.

She sat on the bed looking at him. He didn't know what to say.

Kane didn't say anything he laid next to her listening to her talk.
