Chapter Unexpected Encounter 34
Chapter 34
Tiffany didn't want to be seen, so she hid under the table in a state of panic. However, she accidentally knocked down the glass on the table.
The water spilled over the table, flowing along the edge of the table and dripping onto her hair and collar.
The footsteps were getting closer. Tiffany saw a pair of men's leather shoes appear in front of her. Then, she heard Vincent's voice above her head. "Tiffany?" Tiffany could only brace herself and stand up. She quietly hid the bun behind her back. Blushing, she said, Mr. Lewis."
Vincent took a quick glance at her collar and asked, "Why didn't you go out for lunch?"
"I'm not hungry," Tiffany lied.
However, the moment she said that she was not hungry, her stomach growled. She quickly covered her stomach with her hands, her face flushing red.
Vincent glanced past her stomach and instructed, "Come with me to the cafeteria. I still have a few things to remind you regarding the collaborative project with Mr. Wilson."
"Alright." Tiffany stuffed the unfinished bun into her drawer. Then, she took her notebook and a pen and hurriedly caught up with Vincent.
Vincent's appearance in the staff cafeteria caused an uproar. As the CEO of the company, he'd rarely had a meal at the staff cafeteria.
Vincent picked a seat with a good view and sat down. Alex quickly had someone serve the food, while Tiffany was standing at the side. The fragrance of the food made her stomach growl even more She was starving.
She wanted to have a proper meal!
"Tiffany, sit down," Vincent instructed.
Tiffany felt even hungrier upon sitting down. Vincent glanced at her and pushed the plate of spaghetti toward her. "Do you want to have some?"
Tiffany couldn't persist any longer. She knew that this meal cost nothing to Vincent, and she also knew that he may have seen through her lie. He was just protecting her dignity by not exposing her. If she still stood on ceremony, she might die of starvation.
But she still behaved carefully, not daring to relax.
Fortunately, Alex was there, so Vincent didn't pay much attention to her. Soon, he and Alex began talking about work-related topics.
They talked as they ate, as if Tiffany wasn't there. Thus, Tiffany gradually relaxed and ate little by little with her head hung low.
"Tiffany, Vincent called out to her, and she immediately became nervous. But he just said with a smile, Why are you only eating spaghetti? Have some side dishes as well."
"Okay. Thank you, Mr. Lewis." Tiffany scooped a piece of broccoll with the serving spoon.
The next moment, there was a piece of chicken on her plate.
Tiffany looked up in surprise while Vincent withdrew the serving spoon. He even said worriedly, "Have

After saying this, he didn't look away but exchanged glances with Tiffany calmly,
understanding: they gave Tiffany butterflies.
She lowered her head. "Thank you, Mr. Lewis."

Vincent gave her a slight smile, as if he didn't mind It, and then turned to talk to Alex again.
Not far away, a few people were watching them. From the moment Tiffany and Vincent had walked into the cafeteria, Ivy had been staring at her.
Her brows knitted together when she saw Vincent scooping a dish for Tiffa
A few female colleagues at the same table were also shocked and started talking about it.
"What's the relationship between Tiffany and Mr. Lewis? Why is he treating her so nicely?"
"Who knows? Could it be that they are relatives?"
"But I think they look intimate."
