Chapter Unexpected Encounter 22
Chapter 22
The car drove away from Vincent's villa. Tiffany only looked away when the villa disappeared from sight.
She asked Alex, "I've never seen that old lady before when I visited Mr. Lewis' place in the past. Is she really his grandmother?"
"Yes." Alex answered as he drove, "Mrs. Lewis Senior used to live alone. But she fell ill recently. Mr. Lewis did not want to leave her alone, so he brought her here to stay with him." Kelly frowned. "Would she still be living here after this?"
There was nothing wrong with her question. But Alex detected the hint of disdain in her tone. He furrowed his brow and said, "You'll have to ask Mr. Lewis about that."
Kelly figured that she would have to ask Vincent about this when she had the chance. In this day and age, how could the elderly stay with the younger ones under the same roof?
It would be okay if he was single. But she would be moving to his place and living with him. There would be times when they might do something intimate.
What if the situation just now happened again? It would be inconvenient.
"What did you say?" It was as if Anna had heard something unbelievable. A second ago, she had been sitting on the couch calmly. But now, she stood up abruptly.
In comparison, Vincent appeared calm and composed. "Didn't you urge me to get married and say that you wish to have a grandchild?"
"I was indeed urging you to do that. But I didn't tell you to pick someone blindly," Anna said urgently. Vincent was silent for a while. "Do you not like Kelly?"
"I don't!" Anna did not hesitate and replied decisively "First impressions matter the most. That woman, Kelsy or Kelly, doesn't look like a good-natured person.
"She used to be one of my assistants. She worked for the company for more than a year already, so I do know her well."
With a suspicious look, Anna stared at him. "She worked for you? Doesn't your company prohibit office. relationships?"
Helpless, Vincent massaged his forehead. "I slept with her by accident."
Anna was utterly displeased. "If you were going to sleep with someone who works for you, why didn't you have an 'accident' with Tiffany instead? Why did you have to choose this woman?" Vincent was speechless.
After returning to her dorm, Tiffany washed up and went to bed.
Perhaps it was because she was drunk, but she had a deep sleep. She didn't even hear her alarm. When she checked her phone, it was already 8:00 am.
Panicking, she rushed to the company. She was half an hour late.
Based on the company rules, she would be fined 500 dollars for being half an hour late. This made Tiffany feel pained.

Just after she sat down, Alex walked over and tapped on her desk. He s contract and head out with Mr. Lewis later." "Okay."
"Tiffany, grab Mr. Wilson's
Vincent had specifically assigned her to work on the business deal with Henry under his guidance. That was why Tiffany had to attend the contract signing. She checked the contract and placed it in a bag. Right then, Ivy suddenly called her over. "Tiffany, come
here."
Tiffany got up and walked over. Ivy threw a pile of documents at her. "These are expired materials that were just sorted out. Take them to the archive room. Thanks."
Normally, Tiffany would be the one doing such chores, so she had no reason to refuse. She carried the stack of documents and headed to the archive room. It didn't take her more than ten minutes to categorize the expired materials.
But when she was about to head out, she realized that the door had been locked from the outside.
Tiffany panicked. After struggling to open the door for ten minutes, she gave up. It wouldn't budge.
The worst part was that she had left her phone at her desk.
Tiffany could only wait until someone came over to open the door. But the materials in the archive room weren't needed for work anyway. There was no telling how long she might have to wait for someone to finally drop by. On the other hand, Alex followed Vincent out. He glanced around and saw that Tiffany's desk was vacant. Pausing in his steps, he asked, "Where is Tiffany?"
Ivy stood up. "I'm not sure. She looked like she was carrying some documents and heading somewhere."
