Chapter Billionaire With Husband 73
Chapter 73
Completely unbothered, Xena sneered.
It seemed that Felix was giving Ted a chance, but it was just Felix's attempt to involve her and rid himself of these troubles once and for all.
He was just a reckless brute who knew martial arts. He should've evaluated his own capabilities before acting impulsively.
Now, the damage was done, and people were starting to take revenge. Only then did Felix realize the danger. How ridiculous!
So what if he was a martial artist? Perry's Golden Chamber of Commerce had developed significantly over the years with Xena's hidden assistance. They could easily take Felix down by relying solely on themselves. Besides, Felix definitely didn't qualify to pursue her if he couldn't even get past Ted.
In Sapphire Paragon, a high-end restaurant in Avesburgh, Sabrina was having lunch with Lawrence Schneider. He was a plump, middle-aged man.
Suddenly, his expression changed as he received a phone call. He quickly wiped his mouth and said, "Babe, go ahead with your meal. Save some of the wine after you're done. I'll need to leave since I have urgent matters." Sabrina smiled sweetly. "Alright, darling. Take your time."
Although Lawrence was older, Sabrina had him wrapped around her finger since he wasn't smart. She didn't have to sleep with him and still had money to splurge-what was not to like?
Sabrina grabbed the bottle of Romanée-Conti wine from the table. It cost 20 thousand dollars- they would only drink a small amount whenever they came. Before this, she had never imagined a bottle of wine to be so expensive. She wanted to pour herself another glass before asking the waiter to store the bottle. Just then, she saw Felix walking in.
"It must be God's will! Felix, let's see you fall hard this time," she thought to herself. Without further hesitation, Sabrina stood up and headed toward the cashier while holding the bottle of wine. Her steps were quick, and her motives were clear.
Just as she leaned forward to collide with Felix, he stepped away and avoided her. She lost her balance and stumbled. Although she didn't fall, the bottle of wine did. It hit the ground and shattered.

The process might have been different, but the outcome was still the same. Sabrina didn't bother and started her act straight away.
"Ah! You... Don't you have eyes? Can't you watch where you're going? Do you know how expensive this wine is?"
Felix frowned. He wondered who it was, only for it to be Sabrina, his malicious cousin. Did she not see or hear anything about what happened at the car dealership?
"I didn't touch you," he said.
Knowing that he would deny it, Sabrina pointed at him as other customers in the
restaurant looked over. "You sidn't touch me? You clearly tripped me-or else, how could the wine have dropped?
"This bottle of Romanée-Conti costs 20 thousand dollars. I don't care whether you've heard of it or not-pay up!"
"Oh, Felix Zeller, I bet you'll be begging on your knees this time. Milo told me this morning that Warren had cut ties with you. Without his financial support, I bet you can't even come up with a few thousand dollars, let alone 20 thousand dollars," she thought. It wouldn't take long for Warren to get that Range Rover back from Felix. He had brought these miseries all upon himself.
Other customers were stunned. Although the prices here were high, a 20-thousand-dollar bottle of wine was indeed shocking-after all, it was no small amount.
They felt Felix was unlucky and would be more careful walking in the future.
Just then, the manager, Tim Jenkins, approached them. Since Sapphire Paragon had a
significant background, he had authority in dealing with matters.
"Excuse me. I'm the manager here. What happened has already happened. We'll still have to handle things calmly, don't we?"
