Chapter 171

Standing to each of George's sides was a middle-aged man. Anyone would know that they

were both highly skilled martial arts masters. After one

family would not skimp out on their bodyguards.

"You're here to seek revenge on me?" Felix mocked.

George chuckled coldly. "Seek revenge? Someone like you isn't even worthy of that. I'm just crushing a fly on my way before boarding the plane."

Suddenly, loud footsteps were heard. The people next to George were on guard at once. Their eyes were full of suspicion because they didn't actually feel anybody else's presence.

However, Felix had sensed them a long time ago. He had thought that they were George's men. But now, he knew that he had been mistaken.

"That's quite the description. You're referring to yourself as the fly, right?"

The footsteps stopped, and a woman appeared in the middle of the living room. She glared icily at George.

Immediately, George jumped to his feet. Even Felix had also recognized the woman by now -she was one of the members of Moonshadow Alliance who had left everyone speechless at the auction the other day. "You... What are you doing here?" George asked, feeling extremely confused.

"Someone like you does not have the right to question me. Now get the fuck out of here. If you dare to cause any trouble for Felix again, you are therefore making yourself an enemy to the whole Moonshadow Alliance!" What? Felix actually had ties to people from Moonshadow Alliance?

George was extremely shocked to hear her words. He didn't want Moonshadow Alliance to treat him as an enemy. His family wasn't strong or powerful enough to go against them.

"I'm leaving at once. I'm sorry. It was just a misunderstanding."

George didn't dare to linger around anymore after that, worried that the woman would suddenly go back on her word. He scurried off at once without looking back.

"Why are you helping me? I don't think we know each other," Felix asked, looking at the woman. He was curious about her. He didn't have any dealings with Moonshadow Alliance at all.

A split second later, however, the woman suddenly got down on one knee and exclaimed respectfully, "Greetings, Mr. Zeller!"

As soon as the words spilled out of her mouth, Felix couldn't help but burst into laughter.

"This Moonshadow Alliance you speak of belongs to one of my fellow apprentices, right?"

"That's right. It was founded by Ms. Dalilia Moore."

Dahlia? No wonder. The legends about Moonshadow Alliance seemed pretty similar to those of Dragon Alliance. It had been Dahlia after all.

"Does Dahlia need a Miracle Card?"

When Felix thought about this, a weird, confused look appeared on Felix's face. Something just didn't add up.

"No. Ms. Moore auctioned off the Miracle Card because she wanted to give you more freedom."

Dahlia had certainly thought of everything. It was also obvious she knew that as long as the Miracle Card was shown, Gerald would definitely do something about it. But of course, Felix would end up being the one doing his bidding instead. "Please thank Dahlia for me."

"Yes, sir!"

After the woman left, Felix sat down on the couch as all nine of his fellow apprentices' faces flashed briefly in his mind.

Since both Eloise and Dahlia had contributed greatly to the formation of Dragonia, the other seven had certainly contributed something, too. But they were just too secretive about it.

Suddenly, a series of loud knocks sounded at the door.

Felix opened the door and revealed Yvonne from behind it. She looked so anxious that the tears were about to spill from her eyes.

"Felix! You're okay!" she exclaimed, throwing her arms around him at once. "I was nearly scared to death! I just saw George leaving your mansion from my window. I thought something terrible had happened to you!"

After she was done speaking, she probably realized that she was acting inappropriately, so she hurriedly let go of him. Her face was flushed a deep red.

Other than that one time she had slept with Felix, Yvonne had never gotten physically intimate with any other men, not even hugs. Yvonne only took orders from Xena, so what she did earlier had been entirely instinctive.

"I'm fine. George just came to warn me. He left after threatening me."

The hug from Yvonne reminded Felix of that wild night he had with her last time. He also couldn't help recalling Yvonne's beautiful curves on her body.
