"Please, please don’t hurt him." I begged as I slowly went on my knees, "Please spare my father."

The Alpha turned his gaze back to stare at me and just suddenly he let go of my father and began walking towards me again,

"Get up!" He commanded and I suddenly rose to my feet like I was somehow under a spell of his voice or something,

"You’re coming with me." He said. I stared down at his hands and saw that they had been clenched into fists. I suddenly bit my lower lips with my heart thumping so fast,

"I don’t want to go with you." I mustered up courage and spoke and I could see a shocked

expression on his face. Why did he want to take me with him? So he could take me somewhere far away and kill me after finding out my real identity? My mind was ravaged by these thoughts, and I had this feeling I couldn’t trust him,

"How did you even find me? I was certain I..."

"Changed your name and halfway changed your identity? It wasn’t so hard finding you, princess. I always get what I want and I say you’re coming with me."

I let out a loud scoff while still staring at him. He was my mate, yes, but I didn’t want to go so I could face another rejection yet again. With or without my card, I was going to leave this damn pack and my family, at least try my possible best to find my mother, the woman my dad had said abandoned me as a child.

Without uttering a word to him, I began to walk away, heading towards the door but someone stopped me at the entrance when he blocked my path.

Judging by his look, I could guess he was either a bodyguard or a Beta,

"Get out of my way." I half yelled at him until I heard a scream from my father and I cocked my head back to stare at what was going on.

This man was a freaking maniac.

"What the hell are you doing? Let him go!"

I yelled as I tried to run towards them, but the man at the entrance held me back,

"Alpha Dexter doesn’t like being double-crossed, just watch what you say to him" He murmured to me and 1 let out a loud scoff as I stopped struggling,

"It’s your choice princess. Walk away from me one more time and his heart would be lying right next to him, along with every other person right here. If this isn’t enough, I’ll hunt down every single soul you know and you’ll watch me kill them all." He muttered, and I widened my eyes in shock.

Who the hell was this man? I had never felt a cold shiver run down my spine like this before,

"Please let him go. What do you want? I’ll do anything you want, just please let him go!" I yelled. As much as I hated my father and wanted him out of my life, I didn’t want him dead. He was the only person who knew the whereabouts of my mother and I couldn’t risk him dying now.

"Fine, I’ll go with you," I responded, and he immediately let go of my father.

"That’s more like it." He said and began walking towards me. Deep down, I just had a feeling that my life would drastically change for the worse after today,

"I need to pick up some clothes before I leave," I muttered as he got to me,

"Forget everything you have here, and we will discuss what I need from you on the way. For now don’t ask further questions and just come with me." He responded.

I was going to ask him a question, but he simply walked past me and I heaved deeply, questioning myself which was better. All my five ex-mates who continuously screwed my sisters behind my back, or him, the psychopath?

I got to the car and the man who had stopped me at the entrance opened the door for me to get into the car,

"I’m sorry about all of this, the Alpha isn’t usually like this."

I only stared at him for a second without a response and stepped into the car with Alpha Dexter already seated. As soon as the door was shut, my heart thumped so hard at the proximity between us. He was an alpha Prince for goodness sake so what did he want with an Omega that had been continuously rejected five times,You don’t have to breathe so fucking loud, you’re interrupting my concentration." He fired at me and I found myself holding my breath until I heard his voice again,

"I didn’t ask you to murder yourself as well."

"Step on it, Daniel; I need to get the hell out of this filthy pack." He yelled at the person in front and I was quick to guess that just like every one of my other mates, he hated me too. Even at this, I didn’t let his words get to me. I hated him as well, especially because he was a freaking psychopath.

About an hour later, but what rather looked like 10 hours, the car halted and the door was opened for me to step out,

As I tried to take a step, Alpha Dexter rushed towards me and grabbed my neck,

"Try to do anything stupid or run away, and I won’t hesitate to break your tiny legs. It would be fine as long as I don’t kill you." He uttered and let go of me afterward, then he began to walk in.

"Why are we at a hotel?" I questioned his beta once he was out of sight. At least he seems like someone I could talk to,

"You don’t have to be afraid. We’ll head to the pack as soon as you’re ready." He uttered and began to walk away, leaving me even more confused than I already was.

Ready? What exactly was I meant to get ready for?
