Salute To The General

Duron didn't dare to strike up a conversation.

In his view, those space pirates were all desperados.

The spaceships of the space pirates, though shabby and old, were plentiful.

If it really came to a fight, there was a chance that the Steel Wings could get damaged. For the Gods, whose equipment was costly and population scarce, they really didn't want to engage in intense battles unless absolutely necessary.

If they had to fight, it was best to do so without casualties.

But clearly, even with Steel Wings, it would be impossible to annihilate such a large pirate group without any casualties.

Torii may openly disdain those pirates, but it seemed he understood that reasoning in his heart.

After his sarcastic remark, Torii commanded, "All spaceships, prepare for battle. Come with me. Let's deal with that rat, Toothless. If he can hand over the God's Punisher Spaceship Number, or at least tell us its whereabouts, that will be better. Otherwise, their pirate group will vanish forever in the universe today!"

Duron replied, "Yes. I'll go prepare right away."

Upon hearing that Torii was planning to meet with the leader of the space pirates, Toothless, Nikolette playfully tugged at her husband's hand and cooed, "I want to go with you!"

Torii frowned. "These space pirates are dangerous. What are you going there for?"

Nikolette laughed. "I want to go down and experience the beautiful scenery of Kytlas. I also want to swim here. Besides, with you around, how could I possibly be in danger!"

Torii was known for his strict military discipline, and his word was law.

Yet, for his vampire wife, he showed nothing but utmost affection and indulgence.

Although he felt it was inappropriate, he eventually agreed, "All right, then. Be careful when you go down. Don't stray from my side even for a moment, to prevent any unforeseen incidents." Nikolette laughed. "Great!"

Soon, the flagship released three aircraft.

The advanced aircraft gently descended onto the flagship of the pirate fleet.

Torii, accompanied by his wife, descended from the aircraft with a group of high-ranking Gods officers, including Duron, their faces filled with arrogance.

The pirates on the scene were wary and exceptionally tense.

The commanding voice of Duron immediately rang out when he said, "The esteemed General Torii of the Gods Air Force has arrived. Let the King of Space Pirates, Toothless, come out and meet our general. Enrage our general, and you shall stain the vast ocean with your blood!"

The pirates around, their faces changed once more.

Just then, a colossal figure emerged. It was Toothless.

Behind Toothless, there were also reliable subordinates like Scarbrow following him.

He declared in a deep voice, "The King of Space Pirates, Toothless, is here."

The voice boomed like thunder, commanding the attention of the entire scene.

However, Torii and his subordinates were all renowned paladins of the Gods, each one of them being the pinnacle of strength among the Gods.

Far from showing any fear in the face of Toothless, they even wore a cold smirk on their faces.

It was obvious they didn't take this so-called King of the Space Pirates seriously at all.

Duron sneered, "How audacious! A petty thief dares to act out in front of our general. Kneel down!" Toothless's expression changed when he heard that.

The man behind him, Scarbrow, was even more furious. "How dare you make my boss kneel?" Duron squinted. "What I want is for your boss to kneel down!"

The atmosphere between the two parties instantly reached a point of extreme tension.

The people on both sides were on the scene, ready to ignite the battle at a moment's notice.

In the distance, whether it was the spaceships of the space pirates or the Gods' fleet, both were ready to fire at any moment.

However, during the tense standoff between the two sides, Torii spoke up in a nonchalant tone.

As he playfully toyed with his wife's

delicate hand, he casually said, "No need to kneel. I'm not here to be worshipped by these petty thieves."

With that, he lifted his head, looking at Toothless, and said coldly, "You can't give me what I want, so even if you kneel and beg for mercy, it's useless. Every pirate here today must die, without exception.

The surrounding space pirates shivered in fear when they heard that.

Toothless took a deep breath. "What do you want? If we have it, I'll do my best to accommodate and hand it over to you."

Torii was gently playing with his

wife's delicate hand when he said in a soft tone, "Us, the Gods, recently lost a spaceship named God's

Punisher Spaceship. I don't known et

to come to you. If you can hand over the God's Punisher Spaceship today, I will spare your life. If not, prepare to die!"
