Roar of the Supreme Warrior

Chapter 4046

Dahlia was perplexed. She had lived for a long time and seen just as much. However, she could not determine whether James had something to do with the raid on their village. Seeing her conflicted expression, James said, "You might not believe me now, but I'm sure time will prove my innocence."

Then, he took a deep breath and said, "With the Soul Race's strength, it'd have been simple for them to kill Karglain and the others. However, they wanted to capture everyone alive. Their goal is quite obvious. They want to use Karglain and the others to lure out more of your sect members in order to annihilate your members in one go. It's vital that you bring me to your sect's higher-ups as soon as possible."

"No way." Dahlia immediately refused.

"I've already made the mistake of trusting you once. I'm not going to repeat the same mistake. I'll believe you for now, but I won't take you to our headquarters. As a show of my gratitude, I'll spare you today. Goodbye." After speaking, Dahlia turned and left.

"Get back here."

James raised his hand, and a powerful force emerged from his palm, forcefully dragging Dahlia back to him. Even though James was injured, Dahlia was still far weaker than him.

"What now? Are you trying to kill me?" Dahlia glared at James.

James shook his head and said, "No. How will I find the Heaven-Eradicating Sect's headquarters without you? This is of the utmost importance and is part of Thea's plan. There isn't any room for mistakes, so you must stay with me for now."

James raised his hand again, and several mysterious sigils floated out of them. The sigils stuck onto Dahlia's body and immediately incapacitated her, preventing her from using her strength.

James proceeded to set up a formation around him to heal his injuries, paying her no mind. His body had been sliced by thousands of Sword Energies. Although the external injuries had recovered, his internal injuries still required attention.

The power from Sword Energies ran amok within him, damaging everything they came into contact with. Previously, he was in a tight spot and could not suppress the power on his own. Now that he was in a safe location, he urged all his strength to subdue the power in his body. Then, he used his Chaos Power to expel it from his body.

He quickly recovered from his injuries inside the time formation. After James had healed himself, his brow knit tightly.

Just one of the Soul Race's cities

was already this strong, meaning

that the Soul Race in its entirety was terrifyingly formidable. If the Ten Great Races united, then they would be almost unstoppable.

James took a deep breath and dispelled the time formation.

Dahlia was standing motionless in the same spot the entire time he was there.

James stood up and lifted the seal he placed on her. After Dahlia was freed, she did not immediately leave or try to attack him. She simply glared angrily at James. Her gaze was piercing and felt like it bored deep into his soul.

She was infuriated but knew she was powerless against James.

James looked at her and said calmly, "Don't glare at me that way. I already told you that incident had nothing to do with me."

Dahlia snorted and replied harshly, "Is that so? If it had nothing to do with you, then save my grandfather and the other villagers." James frowned. "I'm not strong enough to do that yet."

"Then, let me go. I'll figure something out myself," pleaded Dahlia. She was anxious about her captured grandfather.

James immediately rejected her

suggestion, saying, "I can't do that. You'll have to stay by my side until you trust me enough to bring me to your sect's headquarters."

Dahlia was his only hope right now, so he refused to let her leave. Otherwise, it would be incredibly tough for him to find the Heaven-Eradicating Sect's headquarters. "Y-You...!" Dahlia was livid.
