Chapter 590
Chapter 590
Kyle and the others were shocked and angry. They wanted to fight for it but compromised in the end after weighing their options. "Okay, we'll give you our number plates."
"It looks like you know what's better for you." The other party was cocky and quickly took away Kyle's and the other two's number plates. When it was Sebastian's turn, he didn't hand it over.
The man lost his temper. "Why are you dilly-dallying? Hand over your number plate now!"
Anxiously, Kyle persuaded, "Sebastian, give it to them. The assessment has just kicked off. We still have our chance later."
"He wants our number plates with just one word. We're letting him have it too easy," Sebastian said.
"Are you asking for trouble?" The man lost his temper, and his companions surrounded Sebastian and the others. Tina was taken aback. "What are you doing, Sebastian? Are you trying to get us killed?"
Kyle added anxiously, "Sebastian, don't act recklessly. Give it to them. It's not a big deal. We'll give it to you first once we get number plates later."
Sebastian had a hunch that those people weren't very strong and wanted to have a fight with them. However, he gave up the idea after listening to Kyle and Tina.
He wasn't sure of his own strength and didn't know the opponent's strength, either. If he was alone, he would have fought, but with Kyle and the others next to him, he would implicate them if he lost. So, he handed over his number plate.
After the man received Sebastian's number plate, only then did he look appeased. "I'm going to let it slide this time. If it happens again, I'll be sure to beat you to a pulp."
The man wanted to leave after speaking, but he suddenly looked at Tina, and a suggestive smile spread across his face. "You look kind of cute. Let me feel you," he said and grabbed Tina's butt.
Startled, Tina shrieked.
"Don't go overboard!" Hurriedly, Kyle placed Tina behind himself in anger.
Sebastian was equally mad, and tightened his palms subconsciously. The man saw this and smirked in contempt. " What? Do you want to hit me? Give it a try if you have the guts."
To begin with, Sebastian already didn't like him, and after hearing this, he wanted to give him a punch right away. However, Kyle held him back. "Don't be rash, Sebastian."
"A bunch of cowards." That man spat, a look of disdain on his face, and left with his companions.
After they were gone, Kyle berated Sebastian, "You were too rash earlier, Sebastian. You have to change that temper of yours."
Tina was mad as well. "Do you know that you almost got us killed?"
"But that guy was taking advantage of you," Sebastian explained.
"You have to set your pride aside when you're under someone else's roof. If you had started a fight earlier, I wouldn't have escaped with just a touch on the butt," Tina argued.
"You don't share the same idea with us. Let's part ways here," Bernie suggested.
Tina was the first to agree. "I think so, too. We'll be killed because of you sooner or later if we're with you."
Kyle didn't say a word, giving his silent consent.
"Take care of yourselves," Sebastian said and left them.
It was true that Sebastian wasn't the same kind as them. With them around, he had to control himself, but he was
more carefree alone.
After parting ways with them, Sebastian dashed in the direction where the previous group of people had gone. The more he ran, the more speed he picked up.
Dashing through the forest, he was more agile than the top predator of the forest.
If someone had seen his speed now, they would be so flabbergasted that their jaws would hang on its hinges. In less than 30 seconds, Sebastian caught up with the previous group of people.
The group sensed movement behind themselves, and when they spun their heads around to look, Sebastian was already standing less than seven feet away from them.
Seeing someone so unexpectedly made them jump in surprise, but they relaxed when they saw that it was Sebastian.
The man leading the group wore a mocking smirk. "Why are you following us? Are you planning a sneak attack on us?"
