Chapter Refusing 35
Chapter 35
"Do you have any idea who I am? If you dare to lay a finger on me, your future in Cromont City is over. Don't think I'm blatting. I'm dead serious. If you don't believe me, let me call someone," Julia threateneid.
Julia wanted to buy time and hopefully scare the man into submission. As long as she could get in touch with Harry, she could get out of there. She was confidem Harry wouldn't abandon her. After all, she was Isis wife. It would be scandalous if she was being bullied by so with such shame,
The man laughed out loud. "Har girls are just looking for a rich guy, right? I've got money. Once we're done, I'll give you 200 thousand dollars. How
about that":
200 thousand dollars? And he calls himself a rich guy? The money Harry hands me as pocket change amounts to 4 million dollars. Why would I want his lousy 200 thousand dollars? I just want out of here! Julia thought. "Release me, and I'll give you 2 million dollars, Julia said without hesitation. She didn't have the money, but Harry did, and 2 million dollars was a small price to halt a scandal in its tracks.
But the man had little patience for bargains. It had taken him a lot of effort to get Julia into his clutches. There was no way he was going to let her go just like that..
Giving her no more time to speak, the man launched himself at Jubia, Julia tossed a pillow at him, but it bounced harmlessly off his body, making look like a playful flirt. When the man laughed, his tubby cheeks bunched up. In grossed Julia out, but there was nothing she could do. So the game of cat and mouse began in the room
When Julia grew tired, she'd rest for a brief moment. The man, with his obese body, was barely able to keep up with her and was soon panting heavily, heaving against the wall for support.
Tll make it worth your while if you let me go. I'm Harry's wife. He won't let it slide if you do anything to me. You know Harry, right? He's from the Wright family," Julia said.
The man sneered. No way you're escaping once you're in my hands, I don't care whose wife you are."
He seized Julia's hand, yanking her into his arms vigorously. Catching the light scent of Julia's shower gel, he couldn't help but take a deep breath. He even leaned toward Julia and nipped at her ear.
Julia lifted her foot to kick him, but the man had expected her to resist a
nd quickly flipped her around, pinning her arms and forcefully pushing her down beneath him.
The man's flirtatious laughter echoed in the room, the stench of cigarettes and alcohol filling Julia's nose. Struggling to breathe and pinned down by the man's crude behavior, she felt a wave of despair crash over her.
The man's hot hands roamed over Julia's body. Even though she was clothed, her skin prickled with goosebumps. Her mind was blank, but her body responded with a strange sensation.
A desire, originating from the depths of her physical being, washed over her. It was a new sensation Julia had never experienced Although she was utterly repulsed by the man in front of her, it felt like electric currents coursing all over her body, leaving her without any con ch, you know. Stop fighting. I'll be gentle the man said.
"You won't get away because I won't let you. You're a tough catch,
Julia struggled, using all her strength to push the man off of her, and let out a heart-
wrenching scream. At that moment, she was truly in despair. Fear had taken over her senses. She felt utterly alone, deserted, and helpless. No matter what happened, no one would come to save her.
Then, suddenly, there was a loud crash, and the door flew open with violent force.
While the man was still unbuttoning Julia's clothes, he was hoisted up by the collar from behind. Harry then saw Julia, who had passed out on the bed, and his face darkened with fury. He slammed the man against the wall with a loud thud.. Dazed from the impact, the man lay on the ground and shouted angrily at the door, but he didn't recognize any of the people who ca pointing at Harry's back, he bellowed, "Who the hell are you? How dare you ruin my fir""
Harry took off his coat to cover Julia, thankful he had arrived in time. If it had been any later, Julia's clothes might have already been take Harry couldn't even bear to imagine what would happen next. Without a word, he turned and glared at the still-yelling man, his eyes red with anger. I'm here to teach you a lesson."
With that, Harry kicked the man squarely in the chest. The man was stunned for a second, leaned against the wall to catch his breath, and then coughed up blood before he gradually came to his senses.
The man's face was full of fear as he looked up at Harry, who seemed like a devil. He looked just as terrified as Julia had been when she saw him.
you know who Clutching his chest, he watched Harry approaching and was too scared to breathe, backing away with difficulty. "W-who are you? Do Chapter 35
Harry towered over him. "I don't care who you are. You dared to touch my woman: looks like you're asking for trouble. With that, Harry punched the man in the face, causing him to spit out blood and a couple of teeth.
The man, all previous cockiness drained, stretched out his hands in a pleading gesture, trying to get through to Harry. "I didn't know she was yours. I didn't do anything to her...
Seeing Harry's look of disbelief, he quickly added, "Really, I did nothing. You showed up before I could get the chance."
Furious, Harry retorted, "So you're saying I Interrupted you?"
"No, of course not," the man stuttered. "I mean, I should have never touched your woman. If I'd known she was yours, I wouldn't dare no matter what." The man was begging for mercy because he was scared stiff by Harry's beating, even now, he hadn't figured out who Suddenly, Julia's faint moans sounded in the grim, blood-stained room. Harry frowned as he turned back to her. Julia's eyes fluttered open, her vision blurred. However, recognizing that familiar smell, she reached out bustinctively.
Her checks flushed abnormally, and Harry, seasoned as he was, realized she'd been drugged. Without another thought to the man on the floor, Harry scooped up Julia and quickly made his way out, booking another suite in the hotel.
As Harry disappeared, the man finally remembered who he had just encountered.
Covered in a cold d sweat, he sat on the ground weakly, the spot where Harry had kicked him throbbing with dull pain. The guys he had stationed outside the door had already been beaten to the ground by Harry's crew, their painful groans echoing.
I'm toast. It's Harry! How could that plainly dressed woman be Harry's wife? Oh no!" he thought
The room was in complete disarray, the scent of blood mixed with a faint hint of urine hanging in the air. Harry's secretary, Alden, stood in the room, looking disdainfully at the ashen-faced man on the floor.
