Chapter Reborn As The 53
Chapter 53
Eleanor stopped in her tracks and nodded obediently, keeping a calm yet confident tone. "Yes, Mr. Roberts, what would you like to ask?"
"The transition where you splashed ink to complete the whole dance-was that your own design?" Victor asked. Eleanor smiled, "Of course not. But it is now."
Her words contained undertones, and Victor, being deeply engaged in the entertainment industry, picked up on it immediately. He realized that it seemed someone had tried to set her up. Still, her quick reaction on the spot left him quite impressed. His opinion of her rose even higher.
Victor then followed up with another question. "Can I ask what the purpose behind your performance was? Clearly, black symbolizes death, but toward the end, it evolved into rebirth. Why is that?"
Eleanor pondered for a moment before calmly lifting her head and replying, "The end of life is just a form of death, and the meaning of death lies in either rebirth or eternal rest. Death isn't about losing life but stepping outside of time."
She continued, "The swan's death marks the end of its physical form, but the swan's soul and aspirations are reborn. So how can that be defined as death? This is the swan's transformation, and it's mine, too. They can throw whatever they want my way, but I'll stay unshaken, like a mountain standing tall."
She reflected. 'Death may be powerful, and so may those scheming in the shadows, but in the end, I'll still rise, still be
reborn!'
"Well, well, well! What a good line!" Victor stood up excitedly, clapping his hands. His eyes shone with admiration and enthusiasm for Eleanor. "Young lady, leave me your phone number. We'll be in touch later." Eleanor nodded. "Thank you, Mr. Roberts."
At the very back of the auditorium, a man with messy hair and a mask brightened up. He muttered under his breath, "They can throw whatever they want my way, but I'll stay unshaken, like a mountain standing tall... Rebirth..."
Meanwhile, as Eleanor stepped off the stage, she spotted Gloria not far away. With a mocking smile, she walked over and sneered, "Thanks so much for all your hard work in helping me deliver this perfect performance. And thank you for securing my spot as the campus queen."
"You!" Gloria's chest heaved with rage, her face contorted like a demon from hell.
Gloria was absolutely livid. She had never expected the trap she set would lead to Eleanor's success. It was infuriating beyond belief.
Having achieved her goal, Eleanor ignored Gloria and walked away with her head held high.
But Eleanor had barely taken a few steps before a strong force pulled her into an embrace. The person holding her squeezed tightly as if trying to meld her into his very bones. "Ellie, my sister..."
Just as she was about to throw the guy over her shoulder, she froze at the sound of his voice. She wondered, 'Is this Felix? What on earth is he up to this time?'
"You said I wasn't your sister. Didn't you also say you'd be a dumbass if you admitted I was?" Eleanor asked.
"I am a dumbass!" Felix shouted without hesitation, his loud voice echoing in the room. Eleanor was left utterly speechless by this.
Burying his face into her shoulder, Felix didn't move. If being a dumbass was what it took, he didn't cafe. At this moment, if admitting he was a dumbass wasn't enough, he'd gladly agree to being called anything-even dirt.

It sounded ridiculous, even to him, but just moments earlier, when Eleanor was performing the swan's death on stage, something had awakened within him.
In his last life, after dealing with Eleanor's body, Felix had driven home, only to crash head-on into a large truck after turning out of the cemetery. When he opened his eyes again, he found himself here, with his lively and vibrant sister standing right in front of him. 76%
But thinking about all the horrible things he had said to her at this point in time, Felix wanted to slap himself. Still, no matter how much he deserved to be slapped, he wasn't going to let go of his beautiful, living sister now that he was holding her.
"Ellie," Felix murmured. "I swear I'll take good care of you from now on. Whatever you want, I'll give it to you!" Eleanor, however, was utterly baffled by all this.
Just then, Liam and Janet rushed backstage, eager to celebrate with Eleanor. When they saw the two of them wrapped in a tight embrace, they stood there in shock. The moment they snapped out of it, they quickly ran over and yanked Felix away.
Without missing a beat, both of them positioned themselves in front of Eleanor, shielding her protectively as if they were mother hens guarding their chick. Their eyes were filled with caution as they stared down Felix. "What are you up to this time? Did your precious sister Gloria lose the competition, so now you're here to start trouble with Eleanor?"
After all, both Liam and Janet both knew Felix was famous for doting on his adopted sister, Gloria.
Felix had finally gotten a chance to see his beloved sister. But before he could hug her long enough, he was suddenly pulled away by two nuisances. His eyes were full of displeasure, and his voice turned noticeably colder as he snapped, "Move!"
Janet and Liam were both at a loss for words, wondering why Felix's presence had suddenly become so intimidating. There was even a small trace of fear in their expressions.
Eleanor let out a long sigh, reaching out to push the two standing in front of her aside. "That's enough. School's over. You two should head home now. I need to get home too."
Janet and Liam, however, remained rooted to the spot, clearly worried as they glanced at Felix, whose face had darkened. They were afraid he might really be here to cause trouble. Janet asked, "Eleanor, how about you ride home with me?" Janet was sure that Felix had come to settle scores on Gloria's behalf. After all, he had never gotten along with Eleanor, and his current behavior definitely didn't seem to bode well.
Felix had already been annoyed at Janet for pulling Eleanor away from him and not letting him hug Eleanor enough. And now, hearing Janet try to whisk Eleanor away right in front of him only made his face turn even darker, his breaths coming huffs. out in angry
If it weren't for the fact that he'd just been reborn and didn't want to cause trouble for his sister, Felix would've already slapped these two kids to teach them a lesson about how to behave.
Eleanor knew Janet meant well, but she felt there was no need for such concern. Besides, Felix didn't show any obvious hostility toward her. Clearly, the two of them were overthinking things. So, Eleanor shook her head and refused. "I'm really fine. You two should just go. I know what I'm doing." Hearing the firmness in Eleanor's voice, Janet and Liam finally stopped pressing the issue. They reluctantly left, turning back
few steps.
Before they went, they gave Eleanor countless reminders to be careful, talking about Felix as if he were every some kind of bad guy.
Once they were gone, Felix looked at Eleanor with a hint of concern, noticing how she was covered in ink. Without a word, he took off his jacket and draped it over her shoulders.
Eleanor was taken aback by the gesture and immediately tried to refuse. "I still have my uniform in the dressing room. I'll change into that." She had put on this costume before the performance, but she'd arrived in her schoot uniform, which was
still clean.

Her body was now stained with ink, but there was no way she could clean it all off here. She could only wash her face and arms with some water for now. Her hair wasn't light-colored, so the ink wasn't too noticeable. Still, the rest would have to wait until she got home to wash properly.
When Eleanor came back out after changing, she was surprised to find Felix still standing at the door like some sort of guardian. "I thought you left," she said, her surprise evident.
