Chapter 59: A True Confession
Chapter 59: A True Confession
Atrias's POV
"I know it might seem ridiculous that I'm saying this while holding roses in my hand
The closer I got to Melissa, the stronger the fatal pull of fate became. I wanted nothing more than to pull her into my arms.
Realizing that my previous actions had made her feel wronged, I hurriedly apologized. long as she wasn't angry. I'd even kneel and beg for her forgiveness,
"Please, my dear Melisa, relax. Don't be mad, okay?"
Just one embrace, that's all it would take. If I could hold her, everything would be different
"No! Stay away from me! Atrias, why didn't you save me back then? Why didn't you claim me! I prayed to the Moon Goddess and to fate, hoping for salvation, for relief from my pain. The goddess gave me a chance, but you never reached out to help." At that moment, she felt like everything had clicked into place.
"You're only bringing this up now because you hate Sebastian! You're trying to use me to hurt him, aren't you?"
Hearing her words, I quickly shook my head, regretful tears staining my face.
I had to admit, Melissa hadn't misunderstood me. I had been torn, unsure whether to accept a second-hand fate, which was why I had hesitated to act.
"It's not like that! Melissa, please don't say such heartbreaking things."
I moved closer to her, but she deliberately kept her distance.
Yet, I knew that she still felt something for me; otherwise, she would have called the guards to have me captured right away.
"So why are you here now, seeking me out?"
Her voice had grown calmer, and she continued to retreat.
My heart raced, unsure how to explain myself.
"I thought we had more time, so I planned to have Elliott release you first before I got involved.
Perhaps my explanation seemed too weak, and Melissa remained indifferent.
"But Elliott didn't let me go! If the people from the North hadn't kidnapped me, I might've gone crazy by now. Do you know that?" 77.8%

Her voice rose slightly, her eyes filled with disappointment and helplessness,
"Back then, you didn't want to interfere in my life, so why are you trying to influence me
now?"
Melissa's voice cracked with emotion, and I felt her vulnerability deeply.
"No! It's not like that, my love. I've always only had you in my heart. From the moment your scent filled my senses. I've wanted to pull you close to me. I've just been waiting for the perfect opportunity! I want you to belong to me, completely. I have to bring you back. to my side. Now, my relationship with Elliott has significantly improved, and we won't have any conflicts. Though I haven't told him yet that I'm bringing you to be with me." I explained my actions earnestly, hoping she wouldn't be upset by them.
"But you don't care! You only think about perfection! If you truly loved me, you wouldn't make me suffer. You'd make me yours, without thinking so much." Melissa deliberately kept her distance, and I knew that meant she still had feelings for me.
"I once wrote letters to many Alphas, hoping to protect myself from becoming a wanderer... I begged them to let me join a pack, so that even if I was abandoned, I would have somewhere to go. I didn't want my family to worry about me, but no one was willing to help. Yet, at that time, you already knew I was your destiny, but you chose to stand aside, waiting for your so-called perfect opportunity. I'm telling you, it won't happen. You won't wait for it! Because this world doesn't operate according to your desires. Atrias, there is no such thing as perfection in this world. What you're saying is just a lie you tell yourself. You've handed me, your fate, to someone else with those words. The bond between us can only rot slowly like this."
Every word she spoke cut through me, and I didn't know how to explain or respond. Maybe she was right, but as an Alpha, I had to think of everything before acting.
I rushed forward and pulled her arm tightly into my chest, gripping it firmly. I then used my other hand to clasp the back of her neck.
Such was my comfort that I couldn't help but pounce on her viciously, wrenching her jaw over, prying her teeth open, and kissing her forcefully and roughly.
I could feel her trying to push me away, but fate had bound our bodies together in a way that left us unable to resist.
I had to have her now.
I planted kisses all along Melissa's slender neck, and when she couldn't resist, I got bolder. "Hiss..." I tore open her white shirt, the buttons bouncing off the edge of the flower bed. Melissa's nipple had already hardened, so I hurriedly bit on it, licking and sucking it, eating it to the sound of water.
The other side wasn't idle either, my fingers against the nipple, pulling it out hard, then pressing it into the areola. 78.2%

Chapter 59: A True Confession
"No, don't do this.
you let go of me! Sebastian help me!"
Melissa moaned breathlessly and I was enraged when I heard her scream another man's
name.
I tried even harder to win her over and make her completely mine.
Suddenly, a powerful force propelled me flying out.I guessed that Melissa and the dark Alpha had already formed a sensory connection, but I hadn't realized just how close they'd become.
"No! Melissa, you don't need him. You must come with me. Together, we'll gain even greater power. I will protect you, and I will fight him for you."
I swore to her, determined to take her away when no one was watching.
"You're unwilling to fight Elliott for me, yet you're willing to go against Sebastian? Stop kidding. Even if we were together right now, your power would be insufficient to challenge him, wouldn't it?" Desperately shielding herself, Melissa refused to get closer to me, unwilling to let anything happen between us.
"I won't let you use me as bait to become the Alpha. I refuse to help you. Get away from me!"
She rejected me firmly, stepping back further with every word.
"I would give up the alliance for you. All I want is my fate, and I've waited my whole life. for you. I've made no promises to anyone else. I just want to find you. You have no idea how much it tore me apart to see you marked by someone else. My heart was breaking." At my words, Melissa shook her head more vigorously.
"You won't give up. I know that! What you're saying now is just to secure me, but your arrogance and ambition have already been fully exposed. You think that if you say these things, I'll believe you-that somehow I'll think I can change your principles. No. You underestimate me..."
Her words made me lower my head, a deep sense of disappointment settling in.
How could this woman not take my words to heart at all?
"Melissa, I need you to listen carefully. I don't want war, and I don't want our love and marriage to be entangled to these matters. The East is your home, and as long as you're there, I will always protect you. If we expand our territory, our power will grow, too, right? I never imagined you would be taken away by the dark Alpha, or that you would fall in love with him."
I spoke with deep pain, but Melissa only laughed.
