Chapter 2648
Aimeen was very excited. Dory was going to make her rich.
Soon it was night time.
The moon shone brightly in the night sky, covering the land in a dim light.
Everyone had gone to sleep.
Except for Dory.
She was lying on her bed with her eyes wide open.
Then, she got up.
She found some paper and a pen.
She brought this stack of paper from her old home.
She then picked up the pen.
She saw a child throw away a bunch of pens and secretly took them.
When she tried to write with them, she found that they still have ink in them.
One man's trash was another man's treasure.
She carefully kept the pen in her coat and went home. It was so precious to her that she never dared to use it.
Until now.
She drew a hat on the piece of paper and colored it.
Once she was done with her drawing, she held it up and looked at it.
She began to laugh.
She placed the hat on her head and said to herself, "Now I have a hat too. I have a hat, just like the other children."
She had colored the hat to look like the ones the other children had earlier that day.
After she laughed some more, she placed the hat down.
She then drew a small little girl next to the hat.
She then wrote down a name next to the little girl.
Dory.
After she drew herself, she started to draw her and then some other children. Once she was done, she held up the paper against the window and admired her drawing under the moonlight. She then remembered something she saw on the television. The program said that there was a beautiful goddess who lived on the moon.
Dory then spoke to the moon. "Look,
moon goddess, I have a hat too.
can go on a school trip with the
other kids now."
But no one responded.
Of course not, the moon couldn't talk back.
Dory felt sad, but then smiled again.
"Well, anyway, I have a hat now. I'm just like the other kids now." Dory then went to sleep.
Every child was different and had their own destiny.
Right now, Selina was very frustrated with her own daughter.
She thought that her daughter would calm down and be more sensible as she grew older.
But that wasn't the case at all.
Sabrina was insufferable.
But that was to be expected, children always rebelled as they got older.
Although she loved and cared for her daughter, Selina felt like something was wrong about her.
She was currently having a headache.
Selina went to Yesseca's bakery that afternoon.
swnol
She wanted to chat with her and enjoy some dessert to relax.
As they talked, Selina brought up Sabrina.
She told Yesseca about the issues she was facing with Sabrina.
Yesseca never had a child before, so she didn't quite know how to help.
She hardly spent any time with children at all.
Yesseca then thought about Dory.
Dory seemed like a very kind and good natured girl.
She then suggested, "Selina, maybe Sabrina is this way because she's been pampered too much. She
might learn to be more reasonable if she lived a much humbler life."
Yesseca then told her about Dory.
Selina was shocked to learn that Dory was working hard at a restaurant to earn a living.
Sabrina refused to even pick up her own trash at home.
