Matthew was shocked.

They then found Rorita's body.

Her heart had been removed. She was dead.

She looked very peaceful, probably because of the powerful anesthesia. She didn't like she was in any pain or suffering.

Preslie's mind went blank when she saw Rorita's body.

She pointed at Rorita's body and said, "Isn't... isn't that Tremaine's wife?"

In the presidential office of Nashaland.

Tremaine was about to hold a very important meeting.

He was going to use the meeting to announce his resignation and to appoint Elmonde as his successor.

There were still ten more minutes before the meeting began.

Sheldon bitterly begged Tremaine not to do it.

There would be no going back from this.

Finally, Sheldon gritted his teeth and said, "Sir, if you really wish to resign then I refuse to remain in my position as a major. I resign as well!" Tremaine looked at Sheldon and said, "No!"

The reason Sheldon has become a major in Nashaland wasn't that he was Tremaine's friend, but because of his own hard work and dedication.

If Sheldon stepped down from his position as major in Nashaland, then Nashaland would suffer a huge loss.

"Sir, I swear my undying loyalty to you! Wherever you go, I will follow! If you don't want to serve as president anymore, then I won't serve a major either!" Sheldon was acting like a stubborn child.

"Very well, then I'll give you one more order before I resign." Tremaine paused for a moment, "You are to continue serving Nashaland as a major and you will assist Flmonde in his duties."

"Sir!"

Tremaine stared at Sheldon and

said, "Sheldon, you serve as major not for me but for the people of

Nashaland. So even if I resign as et

president, you should still continue to serve the people of Nashaland. That's what a good son of Nashaland would do!"

Sheldon pretended to be brave and shouted, "Then what about you sir?! You keep telling me how to be a good son of Nashaland, but you si are resigning! You're giving up! You are still worthy to be president of Nashaland! The people still see you as worthy! You are a good son of Nashaland yourself!"

The light in Tremaine's eyes dimmed gently.

He replied, "I'm not. I feel very ashamed of what I've done to Nashaland. So, don't be like me, Sheldon. Then Tremaine changed his tone from a proud one into a pleading one, "Sheldon, if you really wish to continue serving me, then help Elmonde make Nashaland into a rich and strong country? That is all I ask!"

Sheldon's eyes turned red.

Just then the phone started ringing.

Tremaine answered it.

"Tremaine, do you know where your wife, Rorita, is right now?" Matthew asked.

Tremaine had no idea why Matthew was asking him about Rorita's whereabouts.

But he wasn't in the mood to look into this right now, so he said, "I've already divorced her. She doesn't live in the Quartley Palace anymore."

After a brief pause, Matthew said, "Tremaine, you need to get to Agaphen City right away." "I don't have time to do that now. I'm about to go to an important meeting. I'll come after" Tremaine replied. "Tremaine, Rorita..." Matthew had no other choice but to tell it to him directly, "She's given her heart to Yesseca."

"Slam!"

The phone in Tremaine's hand fell onto the ground.

Tremaine canceled the meeting and immediately made his way to Agaphen City.

When he reached the hospital, he saw Rorita's body.

Her body had been carefully laid down on the table. Her face looked calm and peaceful.

Tremaine placed his finger on Rorita's nose.
