Chapter 147 The DNA Results Left Mrs. Marigold Stunned
Now Harry couldn't escape, Alaric could only hold him, and Harry felt like he was extremely embarrassed.
Harry had been independent for a long time, but now, as a six-year-old boy, being held by Alaric in public was simply too embarrassing!
However, the embarrassment didn't matter anymore, Harry was more concerned about situation later.
"Caspian." In no time, Cormac called out for Caspian and hurried over. Seeing Harry being held by Alaric, he asked with concern, "What's going on? Did he break a bone from a fall? That shouldn't happen." Falling was normal for a child of Caspian's age, but breaking a bone from a fall was too fragile.
"Someone could choke on water and die, and I'm just purely unlucky."
Harry dared not say that he fell off a wall while trying to escape, which would be even more embarrassing.
After Harry finished speaking, his eyes shifted to the paper Cormac was holding, which seemed to be the DNA results between him and Alaric.
Seeing the paper, Harry nervously swallowed and then desperately tried to stall for time, saying, "Uncle Cormac, I feel really unlucky and in pain."
Hearing the word uncle, Cormac felt warm inside and asked. "Do you still want to call me uncle?"
As it turned out, Cormac was not Harry's uncle, and they had no blood relation at all.
"Of course, even though I don't like Orion and Griffon, I like you."
Cormac was deeply moved by these words and said, "Caspian, you really know how to touch my heart. I'll be your uncle forever, and I'll take good care of you. Coming, let me hold you."
After saying that, Cormac took Harry from Alaric's arms, and the DNA results were in Alaric's hands.
Harry dared not look now, but it was strange that Cormac should have seen it already and known that he and Alaric were not father and son by blood.
Cormac should be particularly shocked now. Although his reaction was not what it should have been, he still holding him.
"Do you really not want to open it and see?" Cormac asked as Alaric took the results without intending to open them, just putting them away.
"No need, I'll show this result directly to Mrs. Marigold." Alaric said as he put the results away.
Harry tried hard to see what was written on it, but the angle was off, and he couldn't see a word.
"Caspian, with a broken bone, he should go home and rest. Don't let him run around everywhere." Cormac said to Alaric.
"Okay." Alaric nodded, then looked at Harry and said, "I was planning to take you to see Galatea and have a meal together, but that's not possible now." "Just an accident." Harry smiled awkwardly, his gaze fixed on the results in Alaric's pocket.
Later, Cormac carried Harry all the way to the car because Harry's bottom hurt, so he had to lie down in the back seat.
In his six years of life, Harry had never been so speechless.
"After taking Caspian home, make sure he doesn't move around freely, take good care of him to prevent some complications." Cormac instructed Alaric.
"I know." Alaric said, opening the car door and getting into the driver's seat.
Alaric started the car, and Harry lay in the back seat, staring at the paper in Alaric's pocket.
Harry tried to move his body to sneakily take out the paper from Alaric's pocket, but as soon as he moved, his butt were in pain.
"Ouch."
"Don't move." Alaric quickly reminded him.
"I got it." Harry was almost as helpless as a paralytic, and he could only give up struggling.
"Dad, are you sure you don't want to open and see the DNA results?" Harry couldn't help but ask, feeling like he was condemned to death. He knew the answer but was still living in suspense. "Knowing the result, why am I looking?"
"Dad, why are you so confident? What if it's not what you think?"
Upon hearing Harry's words, Alaric smiled and said, "Caspian, why are you so nervous? Are you worried that you're not my son?"
He never was, actually.
Harry felt like crying.
"Are you going to show this result directly to Mrs. Marigold?"
"Yes."
"If it shows that we're not father and son, do you think Mrs. Marigold will blame you or me?"
Harry wasn't worried about how Alaric would react if he found out, but Mrs. Marigold would be the one to kill him!
Upon hearing Harry's words, Alaric laughed and said, "Don't worry, no one dares to hurt you with me around."
Harry fell silent, not wanting to say anything.
Back at the Knight family villa, Alaric carefully carried Harry from the car all the way to the bedroom, but even on the bed, Harry could only lie face down. "Aunt Lindsay, take good care of Caspian."
"Yes, Mr. Alaric."
Alaric had already arranged a personal doctor, nutritionist, and kitchen to take care of Harry, so there shouldn't be any problems.
"Caspian, stay at home and rest. I'll go see Mrs. Marigold."
"Okay." Harry weakly agreed.
Watching Alaric leave, Harry felt completely trapped, unable to escape with his phone gone.
He could only wait for his fate.
Recently, Mrs. Marigold was in a bad mood; when Alaric entered, she had a dark expression and was in no mood to talk with him.
Seeing Mrs. Marigold like this, Alaric didn't bother with anything else and got straight to the point.
"This is the DNA result between me and Caspian." Alaric handed the DNA result to her, but Mrs. Marigold didn't take it. Joe hurriedly took it. "You guys aren't father and son, are you?" Mrs. Marigold already had her answer in mind, so she didn't expect anything from the result. "The result is right here, Mrs. Marigold. Are you still in denial?"
"Mrs. Marigold." Joe opened the result and, after seeing it, handed it to the old lady in a panic. "This DNA result shows they are indeed related!" "What?" Mrs. Marigold couldn't believe it. She took the DNA result, looked at it, rubbed her eyes in disbelief, and looked again.
"This can't be." Mrs. Marigold looked at it carefully, completely in disbelief. The DNA test in six years ago showed they are not related by blood, how could it be different now? "The truth is right in front of you, Caspian is your grandson. I don't expect you to regret it and treat Caspian well, and I just hope you won't hurt him anymore!"
After saying that, Alaric walked out in big strides, leaving Mrs. Marigold trembling with the DNA result in her hands.
"What's going on? How could this happen?" Mrs. Marigold was completely stunned, looking at Joe in shock. "Why are the results different from the DNA test six years ago?"
