Chapter 3278 The Glimmer Arts
Arabella took the compendiums from Aelion, her hands trembling a bit. "I won't let you down, Master," she promised. Her big chance was possibly the key to avenging her family's honor. Aelion gave her a nod and then vanished in a flash of white light.
Arabella instantly dove into the ancient texts, skimming through the pages while occasionally looking puzzled.
Far from Everton, Matthew studied a photo a subordinate gave in a small village. "Have you seen this girl?" he asked an old man with a hoe.
The photo showed Sasha with her torn windbreaker fluttering in the wind, her delicate, porcelain-like face contrasting against the dusty and desolate place.
The old man glanced at the photo and then shook his head. "She's likely somewhere near the border, where the winds and dust are particularly fierce."
"Who is she to you? Why are you so set on finding her?" he asked, pointing south towards Montiria's border, infamous for its harsh sandstorms and barren landscape. Matthew's face softened as he looked at the photo. "She's my wife..."
Noticing his emotional shift, Matthew waved to the old man and added, "Thanks for your help, but I need to get going now."
The old man responded, "No problem at all. Good luck with your search."
Matthew then climbed into his SUV, driving towards the direction the old man had pointed out.
In the meantime, Montiria's troops were conducting a thorough search for Sasha, inch by inch, but there were no updates. Not wanting to sit idly, Matthew joined the search himself.
As his SUV pulled away, a shadowy
figure slipped silently behind the old man, who looked bewildered. The old man then touched his forehead and muttered, "How did I get here?"
Back at the villa in Everton, Sasha
was enveloped in a faint red aura et
Having spent the entire day
yel
practicing, she had mastered the
Glimmer Arts.
Tap, tap, tap... A soft footstep caught Arabella's attention, and she looked up to see Aelion, clad in white, standing before her. "Master," Arabella greeted, bowing.
Aelion assessed her carefully. "Your progress is promising. Let's see how well you've mastered the Glimmer Arts."
Personal desires didn't influence him, but he could assess her skill by her projected aura.
"Err... Yes, Master." Arabella hesitated momentarily but then did as he said.
A soft red mist began to surround her as she approached Aelion, her eyes deep and mesmerizing.
Her beauty was striking-her
flawless face and graceful figurez were designed to captivate. As she moved closer, she slightly lifted the hem of her long skirt to reveal her slender, fair legs.
"Master..." Arabella's voice was soft and sultry.
While many might find this irresistible, Aelion remained unmoved by her allure.
Meanwhile, Arabella vowed, "Mom, Dad, I'll make sure to get revenge soon!"
