Chapter 3203 Storming the Gloam Wing Office

When Aelion heard the Gloam Wing soldier's insult, a glimmer of malice flickered in his dark eyes beneath his arched brows. With a slight flick of his delicate fingers crossed before him, a massive force burst forth. Bam!

The Gloam Wing soldier who had just berated Aelion was instantly sent flying backward. Blood and fragments of his internal organs spewed from his mouth as he collapsed on the ground, convulsing violently. "Consider this your first lesson. If there's a next time, you won't just be lying there," Aelion warned.

A wave of unease spread through the remaining Gloam Wing soldiers who had gathered at the entrance of the office, but none dared to approach Aelion.

With a casual flick of his cloak, Aelion took a step forward, causing the Gloam Wing soldiers to collectively retreat a step.

"Why are you still here if you don't have the courage to stop me? Do you want me to send you on your way?"

Aelion's words sent the soldiers at the gate scattering in all directions to notify their superiors.

Without glancing back at the former Gloam Wing soldiers behind him, Aelion strolled leisurely through the compound as if he owned the place.

Outside the office, the former Gloam Wing soldiers exchanged hesitant looks. But soon, they clenched their teeth and followed Aelion inside. They had already been reassigned by the emperor from Gloam Wing to the newly established Aerial Legion. With their general-in- chief venturing in, they couldn't just stand by.

"You're not as worthless as I thought," Aelion remarked suddenly, still walking ahead of the group but addressing them over his shoulder.

A wave of pride washed over the faces of the former Gloam Wing soldiers. For some reason, hearing praise from their new general-in-chief filled them with more satisfaction than any previous commendation.

Meanwhile, in the deepest hall of the compound, all the top members of the Gloam Wing had gathered, including Rocco, a former advisor to Toby who had later pledged allegiance to Gadel.

Cyrus and Kurtis Hale, the brothers who led the Gloam Wing, sat at the head of the table, with Rocco seated to Cyrus' left, a gentle smile on his face. They were discussing the future direction of the Gloam Wing. "Commander Hale, we have trouble! Someone has stormed in!" A breathless Gloam Wing soldier rushed in to report to Cyrus.

"What did you say? Someone

stormed into the office?" Cyrus' eyes

narrowed, and Kurtis' expression

darkened The Gloam Wing practically ruled over Montiria, so someone daring to invade their office was a direct slap in the face.

"Commander Hale, should I go check it out?" a senior Gloam Wing officer asked Cyrus. "Alright, go take-"

"No need. I'm already here," a soft yet firm voice interrupted before Cyrus could respond.

The curtains at the entrance to the room were suddenly thrown aside, and Aelion, draped in his white cloak, walked in. Behind him trailed the former Gloam Wing soldiers, still dressed in their old uniforms.

Seeing no empty chair, Aelion casually flicked a corner of his cloak. A perceptive Aerial Legion soldier quickly ran forward, getting on all fours to serve as a makeshift seat.

Aelion sat comfortably on the back of the Aerial Legion soldier, his somewhat androgynous face turning to regard Cyrus at the head of the room.

Cyrus' face twisted in anger at the

sight of one of his men, still wearing the Gloam Wing uniform, humbling himself as Aelion's chair. "Who do you think you are, barging into the Gloam Wing office, destroying our plaque, and assaulting my men!"

Aelion responded with a look of disdain, his eyebrows slightly quirking as he spoke. "You ask whol am? Let me enlighten you. I am the newly appointed general-in-chief of the Aerial Legion, directly under the emperor's command, equal in rank to the commander of Gloam Wing."

"Pfft... Hahaha, did you hear that? What did he say he was?"

Cyrus initially thought Aelion might be some formidable figure, only to learn that he led a newly formed, insignificant group. The thought that this upstart dared to challenge him made Cyrus laugh derisively.
