Chapter 696: Don't you dream
"Hall!" Hector's voice rang out coldly behind Hall's back. Hall flinched and dared not delay any longer.
A deep look at Marian, then a quick follow-through.
He wanted to save Marian, but was powerless to do so.
While Eloise is being taken to hospital, Marian is being held in a secret place.
She did not know where she was, for the room in which she was being held was dark and without a trace of light.
There was no way to determine the time and it almost drove me crazy.
Marian thought he knew Hector well enough, but to his surprise, he underestimated him.
He is a machine without any feelings, and anyone but Eloise is dispensable in his eyes.
Marian realises clearly that even if she has been with Hector for more time, she still cannot occupy even a small place in his heart.
This knowledge made her desperate and left her at a loss for words.
Time passed and Marian was getting more and more broken.
She used to watch Agnes's misery with a cold eye, just as a joke.
Now it was her turn, and it was so painful.
She felt that she might die here, without a word.
Metamorphosis.
The door suddenly opened and Marian, who had not seen light for a long time, almost wept with joy.
She finally saw the light.
Yet when she emerged from the small dark room she found that it was not light that greeted her, but an even more painful abyss. This place is like a purgatory on earth.
She was whipped over and over again with a thin, salt-soaked whip.
There was no clean skin anywhere on her body and the salt water got into the wounds and the pain made Marian want to roll around on the floor. Instead, the ropes bound her movements and forced her to endure endless whippings.
After the beating, they had to be stabbed with a knife over and over again.
The knife is not long enough to be fatal.
Once she can't support herself any longer, a doctor will come and treat her. Anyway, it was to hang on to her breath and not let her die.
Marian was dazed throughout and kept muttering a phrase under his breath. "Let me die, kill me, kill me..."
Marian, at this point, no longer has the spirited look of old.
The whole man exudes an air of mourning and defeat.
On the other side of the hospital, Hector is suited and booted, his face grim.
Carrying Eloise, who was in a coma, he quickly got out of the car with a look of cruelty and gloom in his eyes.
It was a little more ghastly than the usual coldness.
Not caring about anything else, he hurried into the hospital gates with one long stride.
People from the hospital had been waiting in the wings for a long time, and their eyes shuddered at the sight of Hector's dark face.
The paramedics all couldn't help but get a chill down their backs and their voices stuttered, "Mr Hector, you ... you ..."
Not caring about the fear in the eyes of others, Hector placed Eloise in an emergency hospital bed.
His voice was low and urgent as he spoke, "Make sure you are healed!"
The doctor dared not delay a moment and nodded in a hurry.
Immediately afterwards, Eloise was wheeled into the emergency room.
Three large bright red letters shine on the frieze.
"Resuscitation in progress."
Hector, who had calmed down, could not help but feel frustrated, confused, regretful, bitter and angry.
Hector sat frozen on a bench, would this not have happened if he had been there for Eloise, protecting her at all times?
Eloise should be happy and cheerful every day, not lying lifeless in a hospital resuscitation room, unsure of life or death.
A few young nurses waiting outside saw the man in a suit and excellent appearance with his head helplessly bowed at the moment and wanted to say a few words of comfort.
But because of the low pressure around him, no one dared to come forward.
In the meantime.
Rowson was standing in his study when his mobile phone rang violently.
I don't know why my heart is always in a state of panic today.
"What is it?"
"Prince, Miss Eloise has been admitted to hospital and is still badly injured, according to our investigation the person who kidnapped Miss Eloise is a woman called Marian and this Marian is also ..." The handlers stopped abruptly in the middle of their sentence, as if they had some consideration for what was difficult to say, and did not continue for a long time.
Rowson was stunned to hear that Eloise had been hurt.
Too busy packing up to accompany Eloise to the hospital to have time to talk to him.
Frowning, he urged, "Go on with what you have to say, I don't have any extra time."
Fearful of the man who was as ruthless as the devil, the henchman replied, "Marian is Hector's man, and his right-hand man."
Rowson sneered at this and casually picked up the black windbreaker jacket he had set aside.
His tone was full of ice and sulk, "I got it, keep watching."
With that, he hung up the phone.
Still about Hector!
Rowson drove hastily to the hospital and, not surprisingly, saw Hector on a bench by the promenade.
Filled with the idea that Hector had done Eloise harm, he rushed forward with gusto.
Grabbing Hector by the collar, he said almost through gritted teeth, "Hector, what the hell do you want, when you've already done this to Eloise?
What? You can't get Eloise, so you're going to find someone to destroy her? You're too selfish for that! I'm telling you, you're not going to get Eloise, don't even dream about it!" Hector glanced unperturbed at Rowson's angry face.
This is the man who came so close to becoming Eloise's rightful husband, while he was a mere bystander throughout.
He was silent and did not answer, simply because Marian was indeed his.
Eloise is now lying in the ward in a critical condition, and he is indeed to blame.
Rowson's words are not without some truth.
But Hector's silence and evasiveness were seen by the furious Rowson as a tacit acknowledgement of his words.
Rowson could no longer control his raging anger and slammed Hector hard against the wall.
Hector simply straightened his tie and smiled coldly, not seeming to care about Rowson's behaviour.
The paramedics at the side of the room were shocked by this and rushed forward to try to stop the two men.
Unexpectedly, Hector's eyes were suddenly as stern as a lion killing a wild animal on the grassland.
The punch hit Rowson's face so hard that half of Rowson's face was immediately red, which shows how hard the blow was. Rowson showed no weakness, he hated and loathed Hector.
The hand moved without mercy and punched Hector straight in the face.
Neither man wanted to get the upper hand, and their hands moved as if they were using all their strength.
The paramedics tried to talk them out of it, but Rowson and Hector continued to beat them as if they hadn't heard them.
The two paramedics are both girls, so it's not a good idea to go up there and try to stop them, but it's not a good idea to get hurt by mistake. Thinking better of it, they both hurried off to get help.
