Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)

Chapter 1187

That afternoon, Yerick had lunch with Wesley.

Wesley was in a sullen mood, looking troubled. He didn't eat much. He kept sighing, a morose look on his face.

“Godfather, I know you just got a divorce and you're feeling bad about it, but time heals all wounds. I know many young and beautiful ladies who adore older men like you. I can introduce them to you."

Yerick tried to comfort him as best as he could with a bright smile.

"No, thank you. I'm getting old and am certainly not a good match for those young and beautiful ladies you're talking about," Wesley said with a bitter smile.

He seriously wasn't in the mood to begin a new relationship right now.

He had committed so many mistakes in his relationship in the early part of his life. He really shouldn't hurt another woman like that again.

“Godfather, don't say that. You're not old. You're middle-aged, and handsome and mature to boot. Many young ladies like your type and feel secure with men like you. Don't think so lowly of yourself."

Even though Yerick was to bootlick Wesley, what he said was the truth.

Wesley was a handsome, mature, and reliable man who had a unique charm to him. He was also wealthy. His status and influence alone were enough to send hordes of women swarming around him.

Wesley said with a forced smile, "Yerry, you have such a honeyed tongue. Thank you, but I don't want to enter a new relationship just yet." "Alright then, Godfather. If you change your mind, feel free to tell me and I can introduce them to you anytime."

"Yerry, can I ask for a favor that might seem unreasonable?"

"Just speak your mind and I'll do it if I can. You're my godfather and I'm your godson now, after all."

"Move in and stay with me, won't you?"

The thought suddenly came into Wesley's mind.

Theodore didn't want to stay with him, his mom just passed away, and Sydney just divorced him. He was going to be left all alone at home.

Yerick was his biological son. If the boy could stay with him, things would be livelier at home.

Yerick looked stunned. "Godfather, you want me to live with you?"

Wesley nodded. "Yes. I'll cover all your living expenses and won't interfere with your affairs. You know my situation right now. I feel rather lonely living alone in that house."

"Well..." Yerick hesitated.

Wesley was worried that his

eagerness might scare off Yericket

and immediately added, "It's fine even if you're not willing to. I won't force you."

"No, Godfather, of course I'm willing to if you want me to live with you. It's just that I'm quite busy and might not be home that much."

"It's fine," Wesley assured him. "I

won't restrict your freedom. Feel free to do whatever you want to do It's fine even if you don't come home at night, just as long as you let me know that you're safe. I won't interfere in your private affairs. You're an adult and no longer a child, after all."

“Godfather, how long do you want me to stay with you?"

"For as long as you wish."

He was more than glad to have his son by his side, he wouldn't set a time restriction to it.

"Alright, then. Let me go back and pack my things and I'll stay with you. It's something I should do as your godson."

Wesley's broken heart finally felt soothed. "Thank you, Yerry. You treat me so well.”

"Don't mention it. I have no parents and now that I call you my godfather, you're the only kin I have."

Wesley was very touched. "I'll treat you as my kin too."

He really wanted to tell Yerick that he was his biological father. However, each time he wanted to say those words, they would die on his lips. Wesley was worried that Yerick might hate him after knowing the truth.
